For national world Parkinson’s awareness day. We had fun by making our own posters, shared our own experience with Parkinson’s, and did some finger painting in the colour blue which represents Parkinson’s awareness colour and we also coloured in red tulips which symbolises Parkinson’s Awareness as a flower. 🌷

One of our lovely residents enjoyed a relaxing Easter activity, colouring in a beautiful bunny canvas with a wreath design 🐰🌸

She did this in her bedroom. She took part mostly independently and with a little company, and shared how much she enjoyed celebrating Easter in this special way in a way she wanted.❤️

Happy Easter 🐣💛

Our residents have enjoyed a variety of Easter arts and crafts over the past few weeks, including painting ceramics, making Easter decorations for our tree, and creating Easter bonnets. It’s been a fun and creative time for everyone, full of smiles and lovely memories 🌼🐰

Bill said “had enough now” because she kept winning us as a group but he was laughing 😂

Our residents had great fun and laugh making an Easter bunny craft 🐰 . Using paper plates, pom poms, pipe cleaners, a black felt pen, pink tissue paper, cotton wool, and plastic eyes.
They also added their own creative touch by suggesting the use of extra cotton wool and a carrot, making this bunny unique and a little different from the original design we followed from Pinterest.
Bill said “let me put some cotton wool on my eye-browns too” 😂

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed creating Easter cross to represent the real meaning of the easter. They used a variety of materials including lollipop sticks, pom pom balls, pipe cleaners, glue, and paper plates. They decorated their scenes with colouring pens for the sky, tissue paper for the hill, and added baby chicks and Easter egg decorations to complete their creations.🫶🏼🐣 Yesterday, our residents enjoyed creating Easter arts and crafts inspired by the meaning of the cross.

We had a lovely group activity creating and finishing our Easter DIY wreath decorated with flowers 🌺, eggs, and rabbits. It was great to see our residents being creative, and feeling proud of their finished wreath. We had fun making this but was challenging because the sticky tape kept falling off but we had a laugh 😂😂
