We had a lovely time completing a colourful jungle jigsaw together today. Residents enjoyed working as a team and as a one to one activity in the bedroom.
It was a joyful activity that everyone could enjoy at their own pace and good for their intellectual wellbeing😊
It was really nice to see smiles, concentration, and a sense of achievement🧩🌿

This week our residents enjoyed a lovely group activity playing catch and a bowling game together. Everyone sat in a circle, eagerly passing and catching the ball, showing great determination to get to it each time! There were lots of funny concentration faces, smiles, and laughter as everyone gave it their best try.😊🫶🏼
This activity ensured they got physical exercise which is important for every individual!

We enjoyed a lovely pamper day filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of music 🎶💅 We danced, and reminisced to some classic 70s–90s hits, including the much-loved “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” 💃🕺
It was wonderful to see some residents relaxing, moving to the music on chairs, and enjoying the feel-good atmosphere.

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely arts and crafts session creating their own handmade bookmarks 📚🎨. Using colouring pens, everyone added bright colours and creative designs and patterns of their choice.

The activity took place in our activity room, however one individual choosing to enjoy the session in the comfort of their bedroom, ensuring everyone could take part in a way that suited them. It was a relaxing and enjoyable activity that encouraged creativity and conversation regarding their favourite books to read😊.
Well done to all our residents for their beautiful bookmarks!💛

We had a lovely time getting creative by making our very own playing cards! Using spare cards, we cut, stuck, and mounted them onto colourful card paper, added stickers and drawings, and even wrote our own fun rules🫶🏼😊!
This was fun, engaging activity that everyone really enjoyed as it was something different to do🃏

Our residents enjoyed a lovely creative session making beautiful flowers using toilet paper rolls and tissue paper 🌸💐
It is a bouquet featuring different coloured petals, carefully shaped from pipe cleaners using our hands🌺 It was lovely activity that encouraged creativity, own initiative, fine motor skills, and plenty of smiles 💕😊

Today we celebrated one of our resident’s birthdays 🎂🥳🎉

Happy New years everyone!

Today we worked together on a 2026 vision board, using printouts, magazine images, and stickers to capture the activities residents would like to do in the new year. The residents really enjoyed sharing their ideas and getting creative😊🎉🎇
Some ideas we came up with was baking, making flowers, bringing in trained dogs, making 3D butterflies ect.

Our residents enjoyed a lovely and relaxed Christmas Eve taking part in a festive Christmas jigsaw and Christmas colouring. With Christmas music playing in the background, the home was filled with warmth, smiles, and festive cheer, as we count down to Christmas !🎄🎶🎅🏻
