Fantastic day yesterday supporting members of team Sky Bet Sky Betting & Gaming , Flutter Entertainment undertaking the challenge.
we had most of the Yorkshire weathers, sunshine, mist. heavy rain, with a bit of light rain thrown in.
Despite this, every one completed the challenge within 12 hrs raising thousands £s for the Cancer Charity UK.
superb effort, well done to all.
Special shout out of respect to one chap, a viking reenactor who wore a chainmail top weighing in at over 10kg..
Not to mention, a little added generosity, the SkyBet support team donated all the spare unused refreshments to my local rescue team Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team , thank you.. 😊

Gold qualifying expedition in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Busy day again today..
Last day of a First Aid at Work course in Leeds.
2nd day of a Gold training expedition (2 teams) in the Peak District National Park
2nd day of a Silver assessment (5 teams) in the Peak District.
1st day of a Bronze training expedition (8 teams) in West Yorkshire..
Great teamwork from the Addventure crew.
Wishing everyone all the very best with there endeavours.

Wow, busy year so far, can not believe we are in May already.
We have been out and about with several DofE groups and First Aid courses.

This weekend is quite full on-
4 teams out doing their Bronze assesment.
8 teams out doing their pre expeditions training (one day on site, then one day on the hill with an instructor)
10 people undertaking their 16hr Outdoor First Aid course.

Today we have been delivering the RYA Small Craft First Aid course to members of the Huddersfield Canal Society ready for the 2025 season.
Skippers and crew members of the tour boat took a very active part in the course..
Thanks to Scammonden Water Sailing Club for their assistance with this course..
