Restorative Yoga | Friday 19th September

Restorative yoga is a slow, gentle, quiet practice of yoga, where the body remains still for much of the time, triggering the mind to follow that stillness into deep, deep relaxation.
We use physical positions to affect the flow of energy, alleviate physical symptoms and calm the mind, but unlike other forms of yoga, no effort is required. The more the body can relax, the more your mind can rest into that quiet space within.
In restorative yoga you will use bolsters, blankets and other props to support and hold the body. Much attention is given to the detail to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible. With just a small adjustment of a cushion or covering, your nervous system responds giving you an enormous sense of peace and calm.
This is a chance to truly take care of yourself, giving yourself the love and care that you deserve.
