Meet Lydia

"My name is Lydia, I'm a Care and Support Worker at The Care Collection, in 2025 I also became the Wellbeing Officer. I Graduated from Liverpool Hope University in 2023 with a BA in English language and Social care. I started my journey in care shortly after and later joined TCC in 2024. I love the role and care deeply for everyone I work with. This extends to our brilliant staff team. As the wellbeing officer I have been focusing on checking in with our staffs mental wellbeing and organising team events and bringing people together. I always want the best for people and will happily put myself out the way for anyone who needs it. I look forward to my future development with TCC."

We visited today to add our bauble to their Christmas tree for this year’s Bauble Appeal.

Fresh Futures is a local charity that focuses on education, health and wellbeing, employability and family support. They work with children, young people and families who need a bit of extra help whether that is through alternative education, guidance for parents or practical support that makes everyday life a little easier.

We choose to support them because their work has a real and lasting impact on people in our community.

A small moment of festivity but an important reminder of why organisations like this matter at this time of year.
