Connect with Life

Disconnecting with life can strengthen our connection to psychological conditions, such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety.

So, how do we start to reconnect with life? And not feel intense fear, anxiety or overwhelm?

Start small. Here are a few ideas:

Watch a movie, a favourite or a new one on a subject you’re attracted to, or starting a favourite actor.

Read, or listen to, a book, magazine article or podcast. Any length.

A text, social media connection, letter or call to trusted friend or family member.

Look out of the window, sit in a garden or take a walk. Bring awareness to all your senses.

Paint or draw a favourite place, person or object. Hate art? Write about them or look at photos/images.
