Come and join us for a fantastic event hosted by the Working Together Better Partnership in Kirklees on Thurs 9th Oct 2025 to celebrate World Mental Health Day.

Our Lantern Parade in Crows Nest Park, Dewsbury will light up the community from 4pm till 7.30pm with a fantastic parade around the park with our professional and community made lanterns around 6.30pm -6.45pm.

We will also have lots of fun stalls to visit including, free vegan food, lantern making and much more!

This family friendly event is free and welcomes everyone!

*Toilet access may be limited on the day
* Limited Free parking onsite (Road parking available)
*Please feel free to bring your own lanterns - but strictly no flying ones to respect our environment.
*If you are a community group or service and would like to book a free stall space to promote your service, please contact hannah.cochrane@commlinks.co.uk.

Art in Nature - Summer Allotment Sessions are in full swing!🖌️
Join us on Tuesday evenings at the Growing Works allotments on Wakefield Road.

We had a fantastic time at our first session last week and we’re looking forward to more creativity outdoors. 🌿

The forecast for Tuesday evening looks promising with sunny spells, a light breeze, temperatures feeling like 17°C and only a low chance of rain. ⛅️
