We wanted to share details of a supportive walk in Huddersfield organised by The Compassionate Friends – a UK charity that offers peer support to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents after the death of a child, of any age and from any cause.

Bereaved parent volunteers are running supportive walks around the UK. Parents, adult siblings and grandparents who are 3+ months bereaved are warmly invited to book to join an upcoming walk.

Our Cluster Manager, Julia, is at the Kingsgate Shopping Centre today 9am–4pm, standing on our community information stand.
She’s on hand to chat through:

We are very grateful to the staff at Greenhead Park for inviting us over to the Conservatory to sample their funeral tea menu.

The Conservatory Park Café is a great venue to meet up after a funeral and only a short drive from Huddersfield Crematorium, situated across the road from our funeral home on Trinity Street.

Many thanks to manager, Valerie and chef, Nathan for their hospitality.

We are at Emmanuel Church in Shelley this morning to lay a memorial tablet in the churchyard, in memory of a husband and wife who passed away within a few months of each other.
The church is steeped in history and well worth a visit if you're in the area.
