Our amazing marathon runner, Specialist Midwife Zoe, is gearing up for the big day in just two weeks time, running in support of our Maternity Bereavement Appeal.

She will be completing the run whilst wearing hundreds of ribbons, each one representing a much-loved baby who left us too soon.

Optical Diagnosis (OD) is transforming Bowel Cancer Screening.

Nationally, the NHS is saving up to £5 million a year, and since being introduced eight months ago, we’ve saved more than £2 million in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

OD is also helping us be more sustainable, as single plastic pots, labelling and energy to process samples has reduced. 💚

Well done to all our runners who took part in the Halifax 10k last weekend! 👟

A huge thank you to our amazing Halifax 10K runners who braved the rain on Easter Sunday to support CHFT Charity! 🏃‍♂️🌧️

Despite the challenging weather, our fantastic team showed up, gave it their all, and helped raise an incredible £1,300 to support projects across our hospitals.

We’re so proud of every single one of you, thank you for making such a difference!

Colleagues recently came together for Frailty Champions Day where they learnt more about frailty, dementia care, safe mobilisation and preventing deconditioning.

They ended the day by making pledges to take learning back to their wards and clinical areas.

Our frailty teams are already building on the success of the session – with more training events to come.

Our friends at Laing O'Rourke have kindly donated almost 120 Easter treats for our Children and Young People who are staying in hospital this Easter 🐣

These thoughtful gifts have been shared across our Children and Young People’s services, including Paediatric A&E and our Community Nursing Team, who will help distribute them to children across our communities this Easter.
