✨️📝 So, the "did we really go to the moon" discussion in celebration of World Space Day is delayed, as getting the info together proved more difficult than originally thought. However our residents were keen to share their views anyway in readiness and the views were varied to say the least!! When it happens it will no doubt be a heated debate!
And today we decided to enjoy a joint crossword together instead. This is always such a fun session and the residents commented on this again today! We were forced to consult Google for a couple of answers towards the end but on the whole the team did marvellous.
We also welcomed Christine a new resident into the fold and its obvious she's going to be another amazing quiz brain!
Again, this session was filled with laughter and bustling conversation. Thank you everyone for taking part! 📝✨️

✨️💰🥂The Grand National kept us all in suspense right up to the final post!
Congratulations Catherine for taking home the big money and well done Maurice who won the bubbly and was keen to share this out at supper this evening between the residents! Great day, great fun, 🐎 🥂💰✨️

✨️🌳Today we took a stroll down by the stream. This is our favourite walk and the residents were really pleased to see nature bursting back into life again after the winter months.
It was a lovely day for fresh air and a good stretch of our legs!
Much more of this to come now the weather is hotting up! ✨️🌳✨️

✨️🌻Easter Sunday celebrations went down a real treat at The Denby. Everyone said that they had had a really great time.
The kitchen made some beautiful Easter cakes and the hot cross buns couldn't come fast enough at one point!
Thank you again to all those that attended and all those that helped make it a success. In particular Charlotte for taking time out from her busy laundry schedule to help get the party started!!
We've not had so many residents up dancing,for a while. Pam, Susan, Christina & Frank were all keen to shake an easter tail feather. It's great to see what music 🎶 and dancing 💃 does to the whole atmosphere of the room!! And the residents' individual wellbeing and laughter it has to be the next best medicine!!
Your help is very much appreciated fellow Denbyers!!! 🌻✨️
