Celebrating St Patrick’s Day in style! 💚

Our residents and staff had a wonderful time embracing the Irish spirit, with plenty of green outfits, lively Irish music, and lots of laughter along the way.

From testing their knowledge in a fun Irish quiz to enjoying a special treat of Guinness paired with delicious shamrock cookies, it was a day full of joy, connection, and celebration.

Moments like these truly bring everyone together, creating memories to cherish. ☘️

❤️ Meet the Team ❤️

Natalie is our ' activities coordinator ', seeing the residents living well and making them happy at The Oakes is what gives her joy and inspiration. Natalie loves to spend time with her friends and family and has 5 Grandchildren ! Holidays in Cuba, Chinese food and a cheeky Amaretto 😋 are her guilty pleasures. Natalie had an encounter with the delightful Michael Buble once, he kissed her hand and she didn't wash it for 3 days 😆

I'm proud to be the Deputy Home Manager at The Oakes, I joined The Oakes in October 2025, bringing with me seven years of experience in care and a real passion for supporting others. I’m dedicated to helping create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for both our residents and the team.

Outside of work, I’m soon to be a wife in just four weeks’ time and a proud dog mum to my sassy Pomeranian, Ruby. I love spending quality time with my family, and I am especially excited to enjoy lots of cuddles with my niece, who is due to arrive any day now. 😊❤️
