1. What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive healing practice that works with universal life force energy. It helps to balance the mind, body, and spirit, encouraging natural healing, deep relaxation, and emotional release.
2. What happens during a Reiki session?
You’ll be made comfortable, either lying down or seated. I’ll lightly place my hands on or just above your body in different positions, allowing the Reiki energy to flow. You may feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation — or sometimes nothing at all, but the energy will still be working.
3. Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No — Reiki is not based on belief, it is based on energy. Whether you believe in it or not, Reiki flows where it’s needed. Openness helps, but it isn’t required.
4. Is Reiki a religion?
No. Reiki is spiritual, but not tied to any religion. People of all faiths and backgrounds can benefit.
5. What can Reiki help with?
Reiki is often used for:
Stress, anxiety, and emotional balance
Pain relief and tension release
Better sleep and relaxation
Support through life changes or trauma
Complementing medical treatment (it’s not a replacement for medical care but can support the body’s healing process).
6. Is Reiki safe?
Yes, Reiki is completely safe, natural, and non-invasive. It can be used alongside other treatments and is even safe for children, pregnant women, and animals.
7. How will I feel after a session?
Most people feel deeply relaxed, lighter, or more peaceful. Some may feel energised, emotional release, or clarity. Occasionally, old emotions may surface as part of the body’s natural clearing and healing.
8. How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. One session can bring deep relaxation, but for ongoing issues, regular sessions are more beneficial. We can discuss a plan that feels right for you.
9. Can Reiki be done at a distance?
Yes! Reiki energy isn’t limited by time or space. Distance Reiki is just as effective as in-person sessions, and many clients feel the same sensations at home as they would in a session room.
10. What should I do after a Reiki session?
Drink plenty of water, rest if you can, and listen to your body. Give yourself space to notice any shifts or insights.
11. What do I need to wear or bring?
Just wear something comfortable. You remain fully clothed during the session. No special equipment is needed.
12. Is Reiki right for me?
If you are open to relaxation and healing support, Reiki can be beneficial. It’s gentle, safe, and works alongside any lifestyle or medical treatment.
13. How long does a session last?
Usually 45–60 mins for the session itself but with chakra balancing and discussion after Reiki it can be longer up to 1 hour 30mins

1. Can Reiki cause emotional release?
Yes — Reiki often helps bring up emotions we’ve been holding onto. You might feel lighter, tearful, or more open after a session. This is part of your body and spirit letting go of what no longer serves you.
2. Will I have vivid dreams after Reiki?
It’s common! Reiki can activate the subconscious mind and help process emotions or experiences while you sleep. Dreams may feel clearer, symbolic, or connected to your healing. It’s a good idea to keep a journal to notice patterns.
3. What is a healing crisis?
Sometimes, after Reiki, you might temporarily feel tired, emotional, achy, or notice old feelings resurfacing. This is called a “healing crisis” — it’s your body and energy field releasing blockages. It usually passes within a day or two, leaving you feeling clearer and lighter. Drinking water and resting helps.
4. Why do I feel more sensitive after Reiki?
Reiki raises your vibration, so you may notice you’re more in tune with your emotions, your body, and even your intuition. This is a sign of alignment, not weakness — give yourself gentleness during this time.
5. Can Reiki trigger spiritual awakening?
