So yesterday was the start of a 3 day Christmas market . I started the event with my usual positivity but storm Claudia had other ideas….I arrived at the venue at 7am and got completely saturated setting up, so much so that I never got warm all day 🥶….I took 3 sales all day and eventually closed up at 4.30pm. I travelled to the pub I stay at on a regular basis (highly recommend incidentally) and had a long, hot shower, turned the heating on full, got into my jimmy jams and watched a Christmas movie on my laptop on Netflix in bed whilst eating my M&S picky tea - it was pure bliss - I had finally defrosted and had a great night’s sleep 😍
This is the life of a small business owner - hard, annoying, soul destroying BUT fun, rewarding, enlightening, humbling - tomorrow is our last day for this weekend and I get to go home and see hubby and my dog Buddy for some huge cuddles 💕
Come and see us tomorrow - I am exhibiting near some amazing artisans including and - when you exhibit with fellow creators, they become your friends - your tribe 💕
So far this week, we had our best sales day ever coupled with our worst - that’s how unpredictable it is to be a small business owner 😩💕🙏🏻
