On Friday ~ 15/8/2025 ~ it was the 80th celebration of VJ Day 🇬🇧 so a friend of the centre kindly brought up some memorabilia for our customers to enjoy looking at 🇬🇧

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the Mayor of Hungerford and councillor David Reeves to the Resource centre to have a look around and meet our customers and staff.
As you will see from the photos their visit was enjoyed by all 💝

Yesterday we were lucky to have the fabulous George Stacey 🎤🤩 come to entertain us for our BBQ.
As always he does not disappoint and everyone had a wonderful time 💛

On Tuesday our customers and staff had the pleasure of going to visit the Lambourn RDA for Tea with a pony.
What a lovely welcome we received and such a lovely group of ladies who looked after us and fed us lots of beautiful home made cake😍
We then all went on to meet the ponies Freddie and Millie which everyone enjoyed 🐴🥰

Phoenix, Greenfields, and Hungerford day centres provide invaluable support to some of the most vulnerable adults in society, including adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and for those with frailty and dementia. Last week we had the pleasure of a visit from the children.
As we had been having a themed week of Ascot, the customers had great fun playing a horse race game with the children 🐎🏆🥰
