🌿 Abbots Wood Manor Care Home - Residents enjoyed soothing hand and head massages during Health & Wellbeing Week, followed by a relaxing afternoon tea.

🐾 Brookwater House Care Home - Therapy dog Martha returned, bringing her usual dose of love, comfort and wagging-tail joy.

🎄 Cambridge Grove Care Home - Residents helped Chef John mix the Christmas cake!

🕵️‍♂️ Cofton Park Manor Care Home - Flog It! presenter Nick Davies visited for an exciting valuation day, welcoming residents and locals with their treasured items.

🛍️ Elstow Manor Care Home - A festive trip to Woburn garden centre for Christmas shopping and café treats.

☃️ Hindhead Place Care Home - A magical visit from Frosty the Snowman - a rare snowy moment in Surrey!

☕ Lovell Place Care Home - Residents enjoyed a cosy morning at Barranco Lounge with hot chocolates, smoothies and games.

🎳 Meryton Place Care Home - A fun-filled outing to Hollywood Bowl - with some surprise strikes and lots of smiles.

🎄 Richmond Manor Care Home - Proud sponsors of the Ampthill Light Switch-On, offering mulled wine, hot chocolate and plenty of festive cheer to the community. Our residents also enjoyed a magical moment of their own with a special light switch-on at the home.

It's not every day it is the Daily Sparkle covers General Franco's death and we have a resident and relative who were in Spain at the time and experienced the coup! A very busy and lively discussion 🗣️

We also covered gardening 🌿, our past pets 🐶🐱, the Hollywood walk of fame ⭐and Frank Bruno the boxer 🥊

Sometimes all we want to do is have a chill session of doing the crafts we love. Residents, relatives and visitors are welcome to join us for 'Craftinoon Tea' most Wednesdays at 2pm - bring your craft projects, or see what we have available! Phyliss has been working on her knitting, Angela has been making felt animal-shaped pouches and Margaret decided to paint today.

Until Phyliss asked me what other colour wools I had.... then it turned into a fullfilling session of untangling the chaos!

Montague House Care Home recently held a heartfelt Armistice Day ceremony, bringing together residents, staff, the Royal British Legion, and serving personnel from the Royal Navy and Army. It was a deeply moving moment of reflection, honouring the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who have protected our freedoms.

A special thank you to Home Manager Paula Yorkston Toy, herself a former member of the Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service, for leading such a thoughtful and respectful commemoration.

We’re grateful to everyone who took part, ensuring our veterans were remembered with the dignity and gratitude they deserve.

🎉 Pudsey Brings Smiles to Our Homes & Hospitals! 💛🐻

Last week, Pudsey Bear brought smiles, laughter and a whole lot of magic to children, residents and staff and we couldn’t be prouder to share these moments with you✨

Our incredible teams at Templeton Place Care Home and Upton Manor Care Home arranged a very special visit from Pudsey to brighten the days of young patients and families at Southampton Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.

From high-fives and big cuddles to surprise treats (including Pudsey cupcakes made by the Templeton Place chef! 🧁💛), Pudsey spent time across the children’s wards - sparking huge smiles, happy tears and moments of pure joy.

One young patient told Pudsey he was her absolute favourite, while another lit up the moment he walked into the room. These reactions made the day unforgettable for our teams too. 💙

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at both hospitals for the warm welcome, and to our amazing Hamberley teams for spreading kindness and supporting Children in Need 2025 in such a meaningful way.

💙 World Kindness Day | Knitting with Heart at Elstow Manor 💙

In celebration of World Kindness Day, we’re shining a light on the wonderful residents at Elstow Manor Care Home, who have been spreading warmth and compassion through their beautiful bereavement hearts project 🧶💗

Often exchanged in pairs, one heart is placed with the person who has passed away, while the other is kept by their loved one - a touching symbol of connection, comfort, and remembrance💞

This heartfelt initiative reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can bring comfort and hope to others.

Chawley Grove Care Home hosted its very own spectacular fireworks display, filling the evening with colour and joy🎆

Lovell Place Care Home made a whole day of it - bonfire treats, a themed quiz, and a delicious supper of hot dogs, burgers, and toasted marshmallows🌭🍔✨

Templeton Place Care Home kicked off the festive season with Christmas shopping trips and dazzling decorations🎄☕

Newton House Care Home held a low-noise firework display in the café garden lighting up the night ❤️
