Meet the team.

Holly Davies- CHAP

Holly has been working in care since 2013 but has been at Primrose since 2016, first as a carer, then a senior, and now a care home assistant practitioner. She was moving and handling assessor and trainer for 7 years, she has a diploma in dementia care, an NVQ 3 in health and social care and has a dementia interpreter qualification. Holly runs the Dementia unit and brings her passion to the role, priding herself on trying to figure out what people are trying to communicate.
When not at work Holly can be found walking her Siberian Husky, loving on her cats, and crafting things at home, like book nooks, puzzles and crochet.

Meet the team at Primrose Hill Care Home

Karen began her career as a Care Assistant in 2011. Karen progressed to A CHAP (Care Home Assistant Practitioner) as a support to the Registered Nurses, but in 2021 after a career change, she is now the Office Manager.
Karen has completed the Business Administration course, with distinction!! & has a warm welcome to anyone greeted by her at Primrose Hill.
When she is not busy at Primrose Hill, she likes socialising, diamond art, walking, reading, spending time with partner & family, and is also a Swiftie!!. Karen has 2 cats Jack & Sam who keep her busy when home!

Katie is a registered Nurse & has been in healthcare for 13 years. Katie has been a Nurse, Unit lead, & clinical lead before becoming Deputy Manager at Primrose Hill.
She has her Nursing Higher Advanced diploma, completed a level 5 diploma in Health & Social care for management, Is a Basic Life Support trainer, has completed IPC lead training course & supports the home with Infection Control.
Katie is passionate about making smiles, and making a difference in people's lives and believes laughter goes a long way!
When Katie is not busy at Primrose Hill, she likes to sing, spending time with family, go out for meals, football & is a Newcastle supporter!

Meet the team at Primrose Hill Care Home,

Amanda has been at Primrose since 2018, first as a Deputy Manager and for the last 3 and a half years as a Home Manager.
She has been in healthcare for 20 years. Since then she has completed NVQ2 NVQ3 and completed NVQ5 management levels in Health & Social care.
Amanda has a passion for ensuring that high standards of care and compliance are maintained to ensure that Residents within her care receive the best possible placement tailored to their individual needs.
She and her team are dedicated to involving Residents and Relatives in the running of the Home and involving the Community in activities and events.
When Amanda is not busy at Primrose Hill Care Home, she is enjoying cross stitch, decorating, reading & spending time with her partner, 4 children & 4 Grandchildren. Amanda also loves to spend time with her 2 dogs Peanut the Bichon Frise & BonBon who Is a cross between a Shih Tzu & sausage dog!
