81 years ago, many of our residents were just children, experiencing the joy, relief, and emotion of VE Day for the very first time. Today, we’re honoured to hear their stories, share their memories, and celebrate this historic moment together.

🎉🐾 Happy Birthday, John! 🐾🎉

We had a wonderful time celebrating John’s special day with us! 💙

John was delighted to receive a beautiful picture of his beloved dogs from years gone by — a touching reminder of the companions who meant so much to him. 🐶❤️ Alongside this, he was proudly presented with his certificate from the Ferrars Hall Oscars for “Best Dog Lover” 🏆 — a title that couldn’t be more fitting!

John shared fond memories of his days as a lorry driver, where his dogs would often travel alongside him, keeping him company on the road. 🚛🐕

This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely trip into town with Joan and Jean 💜

We had a browse around the shops, picked up a few bits, and then took a well-earned break with a hot drink and a catch-up at Olmo Lounge ☕💬

We’ve made the most of the lovely weather today with a fantastic day in the garden 🌼

Our residents have been busy watering plants, planting seeds, and even trying their hand at a bit of archery! 🎯 It’s been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the fresh air, staying active, and sharing lots of smiles along the way.

Days like these are what it’s all about 💚
