We’re incredibly proud to share that Fitness Rush Community CIC has been recognised by the SE100 Index as a “One to Watch” social enterprise for 2026 🎉

The SE100, powered by NatWest and Pioneers Post, celebrates the UK’s leading social enterprises creating positive impact across communities.

To be recognised nationally for our work supporting:
✅ Youth at risk of anti-social behaviour
✅ Community health and wellbeing
✅ Employability and qualifications
✅ Older adults and isolated individuals
✅ Mobile fitness and outreach programmes

…is a huge moment for our team and everyone who has supported our journey so far.

Over the past few months, we’ve continued to strengthen our delivery model through local pilot programmes, partnerships, and grassroots community work — and this recognition gives us even more motivation to keep pushing forward.

Thank you to our participants, volunteers, trainers, partners, funders, schools, councils, police teams, care homes, and local communities who continue to believe in what we do.

This is only the beginning 💙

🚐💙 Reaching the Students Who Need It Most 💙🚐

Not every young person feels comfortable in traditional PE lessons—and that’s exactly where we step in.

Our recent school deliveries have focused on engaging those who are currently not participating in exercise or struggling in class, creating a safe, supportive environment where they can build confidence at their own pace.

💬 Teacher feedback: "This has been a game-changer for some of our quieter students. They’re more engaged, more present, and noticeably more confident back in the classroom. We could really see those children come to life while taking part, which was incredibly encouraging."

💬 Student feedback: "I usually don’t like PE, but this felt different. I actually enjoyed it."
"It made me feel more confident—I now do junior gym with my friends after learning how to exercise safely."

We’re not just delivering exercise—we’re creating pathways into participation, improving wellbeing, and helping young people feel seen, included, and capable.

🚀 And we’re expanding…
With our third van on the horizon, we’ll soon have even more capacity to reach those who need us most.

What an incredible community-focused day yesterday at Fitness Rush! 💙🔥🙌

We started with an introductory visit to an alternative provision school in St Ives, where the connection with the students was amazing 🤝✨ Every student got involved, and the teachers and staff were just as engaged — possibly even more prepared than the students! 😄👏 It was fantastic to see such energy and positivity. We’re really looking forward to returning in the future to deliver qualifications and support learners with clear next-step pathways for their futures 🎓🚀

Next, we headed to the youth and young adult hostel in Huntingdon. We delivered exercise sessions alongside Level 1 qualifications 💪📘 and had some really meaningful interactions with residents. There were great conversations on a range of topics, plenty of encouragement, and an excellent training session enjoyed by all 🙌😊

We then moved on to Rose College in Broughton, delivering a fun and effective exercise session for residents, bringing more movement, smiles, and positive energy to end the day 💃😁⚡

To round off a busy day, we continued at our Oldhurst facility, providing personal training sessions for community members 🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♀️

The day ultimately showcases the versatility of Fitness Rush and reinforced our belief that exercise should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their barriers or starting point ❤️

This is something we proudly stand by and remain committed to delivering throughout Cambridgeshire and beyond 🌍💙

Days like this remind us why community engagement matters so much — creating opportunities, building confidence, and making fitness accessible for all 🙌✨💪

Why So Quiet? 🤫👀

You might have noticed that Fitness Rush has been a little quieter than usual on social media recently 📱

That’s not because we’ve forgotten about you or stopped moving forward — quite the opposite 💪🔥

We’ve been prioritising an important learning phase within community settings 🏘️❤️ Listening, observing, understanding and developing our approach where it matters most.

What we continue to learn is that challenging behaviours and unhealthy patterns don’t always come from people simply making the “wrong choices.” ❌

Often, they can be linked to:

🔹 Past trauma
🔹 Lack of positive role models
🔹 Mental health struggles
🔹 Cultural influences
🔹 Social isolation
🔹 Poverty or financial stress
🔹 Low self-belief
🔹 Family environment
🔹 Limited opportunities
🔹 Generational cycles of behaviour

Real change is rarely created through one quick fix ⚡ or a one-size-fits-all method 📦

Many challenges are deep-rooted 🌱 and require patience, trust, consistency and the right support systems 🤝

That’s why we are working closely with partner organisations 🏢🤝 to strengthen our delivery, improve outcomes 📈 and create meaningful opportunities for the people and communities we serve 🌍💙

Sometimes being quiet means being busy building something that matters 🛠️✨

Thank you for your continued support 🙌 Bigger updates will come when the time is right 🚀

🚐 Fitness Rush Community CIC – Taking Health into Communities

This week our mobile fitness and education facilities are delivering sessions across Cambridgeshire, bringing exercise, wellbeing support and qualifications directly into local communities.

Rather than expecting people to travel to gyms or training centres, our vans take the opportunity to them.

Van 1 – Community Exercise Initiative
Funded by CCC Care Together, our 8-week initiative is supporting residents across:

📍 Huntingdonshire – Buckden, Little Paxton, Eaton Socon, Eynesbury
📍 East Cambridgeshire – Littleport, Little Downham, Ely
📍 Cambridge City – Romsey, Coleridge, Abbey
📍 Fenland – Wimblington and March
📍 South Cambridgeshire – Little Eversden, Orwell, Barrington, Shepreth

Van 2 – Weekly Delivery Programme

Alongside this, our second van is delivering a combination of targeted exercise programmes and fitness qualifications, including:

• Care home exercise sessions in Huntingdonshire
• Community exercise provision in Peterborough
• School and youth sessions in Cambridge
• Community programmes in Wisbech and March
• Police hotspot activity sessions for young people
• Veterans exercise sessions in Brampton

Across both vans we are delivering programmes in over 35 different locations this week alone, helping people stay active, build confidence and improve their wellbeing.

And this is just the start of our journey.

Not to mention our private personal training and sports therapy services at our Oldhurst facility, supporting individuals with tailored training, rehabilitation and performance support.

👉 Get involved.

Whether you're a community organisation, school, care home, employer, or individual looking to improve your health — Fitness Rush is here to help.

FREE Youth Exercise Programme – Supporting Young People Who May Benefit from a Positive Opportunity

In our mobile fitness facility – a world’s first – Fitness Rush has been delivering exercise in communities that need it most.

We are now launching structured youth exercise programmes in Soham, Huntingdon and the Cambridgeshire County for young people aged 12–17.

This opportunity is particularly suited to young people who may be struggling to find activities they enjoy, finding it difficult to stay engaged in school, or who may benefit from a positive and structured environment outside of the classroom.

Through movement, teamwork and supportive coaching, the sessions aim to help young people build confidence, improve focus and feel part of something constructive.

We have worked closely with the local council and neighbourhood policing teams to ensure the programmes run safely and reach the young people who may benefit most from positive, structured activity.

We encourage parents, teachers, social workers, youth workers and community connectors to share this opportunity with any young person who could benefit.

📍 Soham

Soham Recreation Ground, CB7 5ED
🗓 Starting Wednesday 18th
⏰ 6:00pm – 7:00pm
📆 8-week programme

📍 Huntingdon

🗓 Starting Thursday 19th

Fitness Rush is also working with partners across Wisbech, Cambridge City and wider Cambridgeshire, helping bring structured exercise opportunities into communities where they are needed most.

If you feel a young person could benefit from taking part, please message us for further details and to receive the application form.

And we're Live 🎬

Sometimes you pause for a moment and reflect on why you do the work you do. 💭

Recently, I found myself doing exactly that after facing ongoing challenges and barriers that, at times, felt unnecessary.

And the answer came back clearly.

Because people still need support. ❤️

I didn’t step into the community sector to compete with other organisations. Competition belongs in sport, business, and games. 🏆
But the work we do in communities isn’t a game — and the people we support are certainly not pieces on a board.

They are real people.
People navigating difficult circumstances.
People looking for opportunity, encouragement, support, and sometimes simply someone who believes in them. 💙🤝

That’s why we do what we do.

So we’ll keep showing up. 💪
We’ll keep reaching people through health, fitness, opportunity, and positivity. 🌱
And we’ll keep creating spaces where people feel valued, capable, and supported. 🌟

And the truth is, the more organisations working in this space, the better. Communities grow stronger when people work alongside one another with a shared purpose. 🤝🌍

For me, this has never been about being the biggest or the best. It’s about being present, being consistent, and doing the work that helps people move forward in their lives. 🚶‍♂️➡️🌟

At the heart of it, the mission is simple:

Reach people. 📍
Support people. 🤝
Help people move forward. 🚀

And that’s exactly what we’ll keep doing. 🌍✨
