π Fitness Rush Community CIC β Taking Health into Communities
This week our mobile fitness and education facilities are delivering sessions across Cambridgeshire, bringing exercise, wellbeing support and qualifications directly into local communities.
Rather than expecting people to travel to gyms or training centres, our vans take the opportunity to them.
Van 1 β Community Exercise Initiative
Funded by CCC Care Together, our 8-week initiative is supporting residents across:
π Huntingdonshire β Buckden, Little Paxton, Eaton Socon, Eynesbury
π East Cambridgeshire β Littleport, Little Downham, Ely
π Cambridge City β Romsey, Coleridge, Abbey
π Fenland β Wimblington and March
π South Cambridgeshire β Little Eversden, Orwell, Barrington, Shepreth
Van 2 β Weekly Delivery Programme
Alongside this, our second van is delivering a combination of targeted exercise programmes and fitness qualifications, including:
β’ Care home exercise sessions in Huntingdonshire
β’ Community exercise provision in Peterborough
β’ School and youth sessions in Cambridge
β’ Community programmes in Wisbech and March
β’ Police hotspot activity sessions for young people
β’ Veterans exercise sessions in Brampton
Across both vans we are delivering programmes in over 35 different locations this week alone, helping people stay active, build confidence and improve their wellbeing.
And this is just the start of our journey.
Not to mention our private personal training and sports therapy services at our Oldhurst facility, supporting individuals with tailored training, rehabilitation and performance support.
