What a wonderful afternoon we had enjoying a fantastic solo performance from Lesley Ann!

Lesley had everyone singing along, smiling, and dancing throughout the afternoon with a lovely mix of songs and beautiful ballads. Tony and his wife led the slow dancing which was so lovely to see 💃❤️

Before long, our rock and rollers were up on their feet dancing away and enjoying every moment! The room was filled with laughter, music, and happiness from start to finish 🎶🕺

Thank you, Lesley Ann, for such an entertaining afternoon — everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

We had a fantastic time celebrating National Cocktail Day with a fun-filled cocktail making session! Everyone enjoyed creating and tasting a variety of delicious drinks, from a refreshing Strawberry Daiquiri to a classic French 75 cocktail 🍋✨

There were plenty of smiles and laughter as everyone got creative mixing their own special concoctions too! It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves, trying new flavours, and sharing the experience together. Cheers to a lovely afternoon! 🥂😊

In celebration of International Nurses Day, we though it was only right to show a little appreciation! 🧑‍⚕️💙

What better way to do that than with a therapeutic card-making and painting session this morning! We loved spending time with one another, having a chat, listening to each others favourite songs and singing along! 🎨😊

Thank you to all nurses and staff for their kindness, compassion and dedication, today and everyday you are appreciated! ✨🥰

The home was buzzing with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of “Ooh, I just need one more!” moments this afternoon. It’s amazing how a simple game can bring out everyone’s playful side and fill the room with such good energy.

A huge congratulations to our lucky winners — Janet, Lynn, and Margaret — who each walked away with big smiles and even bigger bragging rights. Well played, ladies!

Here’s to many more afternoons filled with fun, chatter, and a little bit of bingo magic. 💛✨

This afternoon we came together to celebrate VE Day with a wonderful afternoon full of music (And cake)! 🍰

VE Day is all about remembrance, reflection and celebration, honouring those who lived through the war and fought for peace and freedom. ❤️🇬🇧

We were delighted to be joined by the amazing Stacey Rae, who put on a truly fantastic performance singing many beloved wartime classics and favourites that had everyone smiling, singing along and reminiscing! 🎶

As cakes and drinks were handed out, union flags waved proudly around the room while Stacey’s wonderful voice filled the afternoon with joy and nostalgia. There were plenty of smiles, tapping feet, singalongs and heartfelt moments.

A big thank you to Stacey Rae for such an incredible performance and for helping make this VE Day so enjoyable! 🥰🇬🇧

What a fantastic afternoon of music and entertainment! 🎶

We were joined by the brilliant Cash Edward’s, who certainly put on a wonderful show. From guitar playing and singalongs to tapping along from our chairs and even a little dancing, there were smiles all around after an enjoyable afternoon! 🎸🥰

This morning we proudly finished our VE Day collage poster! 🇬🇧

It was a wonderful morning filled with creativity, laughter and conversation as everyone came together to add their own special touch to the display! From sharing memories and stories to choosing colours, pictures and designs, it was a very enjoyable session! 🥰🇬🇧

What an afternoon we’ve had! Our Circus Skills session brought out everyone’s playful side, and the room was full of laughter from start to finish. Hats were flying, colourful scarves were swirling through the air, and there were some very impressive attempts at balancing peacock feathers — with plenty of giggles whenever they wobbled off in the wrong direction.

The best part was seeing everyone give it a go, no matter how tricky the challenge looked. There were cheers, claps, and lots of “I can’t believe I did that!” moments. We wrapped up the session with a lively sing‑along, and the smiles just kept on coming.

A brilliant, joy‑filled afternoon all round.
