Fantastic recognition for the wonderful team and all the players, that our lead coach Jason has been recognised in the Hunts FA Grassroots Football Awards, as Coach of the Year for the disability pathway.

A massive thanks to the team - Laura, Sully, Jimmy, and Di - for their incredible work providing a pathway to football for children with additional needs.

A huge thanks also to Rotary in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, for their amazing support this season, sponsoring the players kit and for their generous donations that enable us to get dedicated training equipment for our sessions.

Our final session before our Summer break saw the heavens open after weeks of ☀️! As a result our player numbers were depleted, however it was more than made up with some very special guests from Rotary in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire…. Some of whom even joined in and showcased their skills!

Rotary have been hugely generous with their support for the Rams, sponsoring our kits - which the players absolutely love - as well as enabling the purchase of equipment, including goals, rebounders and balls, through their donations. Furthermore, through their support, we’ve now been able to get Wi-Fi enabled at the Colts, meaning we can access a wide array of coaching materials, hold classroom sessions and host a wide array of events at the Clubhouse.

Libby and Max were awarded our Player of the Week awards, for the fantastic shooting and super high drop kicks respectively.

We’ve had a truly wonderful season, learning so many new football skills and growing in confidence - it’s been so rewarding for players and coaches alike…..capped off with being awarded Team of the Season by Ramsey Colts Football Development.

More football fun at Sundays Rams session. The players looked amazing in their kits, sponsored by Rotary in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire!!

Our younger group had a range of fun activities designed to build footballing skills, whilst our older group focussed on shooting.

Players of the Week:
Max - for listening really well and putting his new learning to good effect, and for accommodating others.

Ethan - for really persevering with learning the technique for shooting from a cross, and for learning to curl the ball - scored some worldies!!!

We would like to make this year a special one, as we celebrate 30 years since the formation of our Club, and commemorate 20 years since the sad loss of playing member Tom Jones at age 17.

In his memory we have the U17’s returning as the now U37’s to play against the current coaches with 3pm kick off.

Our players were truly delighted to be presented with their very own kit, thanks to the incredible generosity of Rotary in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. The impact this has on these incredible young people cannot be understated - their pride shone brighter than the sun that morning!

We can’t thank Rotary enough for their support, with even more generosity coming our way which we’ll be sharing soon. Thanks to Will Cowell for taking the time to visit and present the shirts, and a special thanks to June Green for helping make this happen.

The Rams are an amazing football team for 6-16 year olds with Sensory, Learning, SEND, Neurodivergant & Physical needs.
The team was formed nearly a year ago & is going from strength to strength!
Rotary in Ramsey are very proud to be able to sponsor this team and the club that breaks down barriers and opens pathways to football for everyone. So it was a great pleasure to be able to present the Rams with their new kit!
Former past President, Will Cowell is show handing over the kit to Jason Vaghela and the team.

Our Rams players had a lovely Easter treat - the Easter Bunny delivered some eggs that were kindly donated by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

After a busy session, these treats brought huge smiles and cheers from the players….they’ll have to work extra hard to work off those calories!! 😂⚽️ 🐣 🐰

We’re so grateful for the amazing community we have!

The wonderfully generous people at the Merseside Coffee Morning Club visited the Rams recently and kindly donated some money they had raised for a local cause.

We were able to purchase some great pop-up goals so our players can do small-sided games - a really great way for players to develop football skills - as well as some much needed new footballs for our younger age group.

The players were so excited - thank you so much!

A glorious sunny morning welcomed our players to The Rams this week.

Obstacle courses, shooting, pass and move, 1v1’s, free kicks…..so many great skills on show with smiles all around!!
