The WI Office will be closed & we will be re-opening on Thursday 26th.

Liz Dive will be leading an Origami Workshop on 15th April.
Come along and make a paper crane (the squawky kind not the mechanical kind!). We’ll go through the process step-by-step and when we have our flock of magnificent birds, we’ll stop for tea and biscuits. After refuelling, we’ll decorate, embellish and generally make our birds look even more fabulous.
Please bring along whatever embellishments you have (about the size of a sequin or thereabouts is perfect, even gorgeous pieces of offcut paper).
I will provide glue, extra embellishments and florists’ wire to display your ornithological wonder.
You may have had me to teach your WI how to make a crane but this is taking it a whole
new level!

Come along and join our watch party for the NFWI Annual Meeting.

Speakers: Anne Bowden - founded Starling Bank & Professor Michele Dougherty CBD FRS FRAS - Fellow of the Royal Society and a Professor of Space Physics at Imperial College. She led unmanned exploratory missions to Saturn and Jupiter, was Principle Investigator of the magnetometer instrument on the Cassini mission to Saturn, and is Principle Investigator of the magnetometer for the European Space Agency's Jupiter ICy moons Explorer (JUICE) - which launched in April 2023.
