Reminiscence session with visit from Norris Museum in St. Ives!❤️

Everyone reminisces, reminiscing is swapping old stories with friends and remembering all the things you used to do as children, or sitting around the table and talking about past events. Reminiscing is all about happy recollections and thinking back to stories from the past but for older people memories can be especially important and valuable.

Reminiscence concentrates on what people can remember rather than what they cannot! It is also an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Open Day on Saturday ❤️ Kay our amazing lady baked everything on her own so she can share her baking skills with residents, staff and families 👩‍🍳🥯🧁🎂🍰 Kay you are a superstar and we have no idea what we would do without you ☺️

We had farmers corner with loads of vegetable, fruits and other goodies 😍 Kay was serving cakes and cups of tea ☕️ Residents and families were enjoying the last sunshine before real autumn comes 🍁

Even If not everything went as planned we think we had busy and lovely afternoon in the garden ❤️

We are currently working on our garden project. We are aiming to make our garden areas more sensory to include a wild garden, fruit and veg, herbs and spices, adding colour, smells and fragrances.

We would really appreciate support with donations of seeds, plants, flowers shrubs or ornaments, gnomes or if you have a few hours available to help and support with planting pots, beds etc. with our residents, please contact Sylvia on 01480 411411
