💕 Have you thought about including relaxation therapies in your birth plan? 💕

Reflexology can help prepare your body by encouraging relaxation, supporting circulation, and creating a calmer mindset. Many mums use it in the final weeks to reduce tension and support natural readiness for labour. Whether as part of your regular care or a special treat before birth, reflexology offers gentle, nurturing support for body and mind. Add reflexology to your birth preparation today & make a booking on our website.

💕Baby massage works best when your little one is calm, alert, and not too hungry or sleepy. A good time might be after a nap or a feed, once digestion has settled. Watch your baby’s cues — if they’re making eye contact, kicking gently, and seem happy, it’s a perfect moment to connect. Massage before bedtime can also help babies wind down. My online baby massage course shows you how to create calming routines at home.

💕 What is a Birth Pool? 💕

Have you heard about birth pools but aren’t sure what they really are?

A birth pool is a specially designed pool used during labour to provide comfort, reduce pain, and create a sense of calm. Many women find the warm water helps them relax and cope with contractions more effectively. It’s not only for home births—many hospitals also use them. If you’ve been curious, this is a natural, safe option that could support your birth experience. 🌊✨

Would you like to know how to hire one? Let’s me know if you have any questions.

💕 Acupuncture has many evidence based benefits …

🌟 Acupuncture can be a beneficial treatment for a variety of conditions, particularly chronic pain and related symptoms. It can also help with nausea, vomiting, and even some mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends considering acupuncture for chronic pain, tension-type headaches, and migraines.
🌟 Acupuncture may help improve fertility by regulating hormones, increasing blood flow to reproductive organs, reducing stress, and potentially improving s***m quality. It can be used as a complementary therapy alongside other fertility treatments like IVF.
🌟 Acupuncture during pregnancy can be a beneficial complementary therapy for managing various pregnancy-related discomforts and promoting overall well-being. It's commonly used to address musculoskeletal pain like back pain and pelvic pain, as well as nausea and vomiting (morning sickness). Additionally, acupuncture can be used for emotional wellbeing, helping to regulate hormones and reduce stress and anxiety. It can also be used for birth preparation, helping to ripen the cervix, optimize baby's position, and reduce anxiety.

💕 Birth trauma isn’t always about emergencies — sometimes it’s about how you felt. 💕

Many people believe trauma only happens in dramatic or life-threatening situations, but emotional trauma is just as real.

A birth may look ‘straightforward’ on paper, yet if you felt scared, powerless, or dismissed, it can leave lasting wounds. Trauma is defined not by the event itself, but by how it felt to you.

That means your emotions are valid, even if others see things differently. Often women are told “At least you have a healthy baby”. This is the very least you should expect and should not be used to dismiss your feelings. Naming this truth is the first step to healing.

✨ Comment ‘yes’ if you’ve ever heard this before — it might help another mum feel less alone.

💕 Why do so many parents turn to craniosacral therapy? 💕

Parents often seek craniosacral therapy for their babies because it’s gentle, non-invasive, and effective.

Whether it’s supporting sleep, easing colic, or helping after a difficult birth, this therapy provides a calming space for babies and parents alike. For mums, it can also support recovery by reducing stress and tension.

Choosing craniosacral therapy means choosing a holistic approach that values the connection between mind, body, and emotions. 🌿

💕 Encouraging natural onset of labour 💕

Sometimes, women wish to avoid induction and encourage labour naturally.

Reflexology is often used in the final weeks as a gentle, supportive therapy. By reducing stress and stimulating relaxation, reflexology helps create optimal conditions for your body to move into labour when it’s ready.

It’s not about forcing, but about supporting balance and readiness. Many women find it a comforting way to take an active role in preparing for birth.

Book reflexology in your due window to support your natural labour journey.

💕 Trauma Doesn’t Fade on Its Own 💕

Time alone doesn’t heal trauma — in fact, many mums find their feelings resurface months or even years later. Healing takes support, whether that’s talking through your story, processing feelings with a therapist, or finding safe spaces to share. If you’ve been waiting for things to just ‘get better,’ know that you don’t have to do this alone. Support is out there, and it’s never too late to begin.

💕 Gentle touch, powerful results 💕
Craniosacral therapy works by using light touch to feel the body’s natural rhythms and patterns of tension.

It helps to release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluids around the brain and spinal cord.

This creates a sense of deep relaxation and balance in the body. Many clients describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected after a session. It’s a therapy that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. 🌸
