"One of the most common issues I encounter when helping people recover from an injury or from surgery is of the healing times of various tissues.

Everyone wants to be better NOW, but this isn’t realistic. Tissue healing takes TIME. We can’t rush it." - Dr. Caleb Burgess

It's important to help patients understand the above!

It’s currently still and it’s important in order to seek out quick treatment that you know the potential sign of a developing skin cancer. This checklist gives you the main points to look out for, however if you have any concerns about any existing moles or new skin lesions see a GP that has a special interest in dermatology for a check. Remember that skin cancer can occur anywhere, including the soles of your feet, between your toes and under your nails! If your podiatrist notices something in your appointment and suggests getting it checked please do it. I’ve caught 2 basal cell carcinomas on my patients in the last 8 months.
