📢 Glider Experience Update

Unfortunately, due to today’s harsh weather conditions, we’ve had to postpone the Glider Fundraiser event.

The new date will be next Wednesday, 17th September @ 2:30pm (weather permitting).

All donations already received will still go directly towards the event and supporting more amazing experiences for our residents.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you there next week for a fantastic day!

Please be aware that our Macmillan Coffee Morning will now take place on Friday 3rd October 10am - 12pm!

Please feel free to bring in some treats, and come and have a taste of others - all in aid of Macmillan, we would love to see you there! 💚

From now on, you can enjoy our full range of beauty services 5 days a week and every other weekend – giving you plenty of opportunities to relax and be pampered.

💇 Hairdressing Services – Stylish haircuts, blow-dries, perms/rollers, and vibrant colour treatments.
💆 Spa Treatments – Rejuvenating foot spa treatments, anti-ageing face masks, and soothing massages.
💅 Nail Services – Professional nail shaping, polish application, and cuticle care.
🌸 Other Beauty Therapy – Eyebrow & mustache trims, hair nutrition masks, and full-body moisturising treatments.

All services will be offered at no extra cost! We are always working to find ways we can enhance the services that we provide - so let’s get you looking and feeling your best!🌷

💛 🎹 Music fills the heart and the home 🎹💛

Rowena treated us to a beautiful selection of hymns on the piano. Our residents gathered around, listening and singing along, creating such a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. Supporting our residents to continue their passions and talents is so important to us — and moments like this remind us why!

“Rain or shine, our residents always look forward to visiting Sara’s house to see her alpacas! 🦙💛

Despite getting caught in a downpour, we had a wonderful time — and that hot cup of tea afterwards was just what we needed. Thank you, Sara, for your kindness and for sharing such a special experience with us again!

🌸✨ Celebrating Onam Together ✨🌸

This weekend, our wonderful Malayali staff invited us to join them in celebrating Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, India. It was such a joy to experience their beautiful traditions — from creating the stunning Pookalam (floral design) to sharing in the delicious Onam Sadhya feast.

Two of our residents joined us and had a wonderful time, even helping to lay down petals for the flower arrangements. Moments like these remind us how important it is to come together, learn from each other’s cultures, and celebrate the incredible diversity within our Brook House family. 💛🌿

✨ A Day to Remember at The Victory Show! ✨

On Friday, we had the pleasure of taking two of our lovely gents to The Victory Show in Cosby – and what a day it was! The displays were absolutely phenomenal and brought back so many memories. There were a few emotional moments as the nostalgia really set in, but the smiles on their faces said it all – they loved every second. ❤️

We rounded off the day with some classic hot dogs for lunch 🌭 – the perfect way to end such a special trip.
