The Working Well Marketplace takes place at Shakespeare Nort Playhouse on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

We will bring together businesses, wellbeing providers, and support services from across Knowsley and the Liverpool City Region.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:
Network with local organisations
Access practical workplace wellbeing tools and resources
Learn from expert providers
Strengthen their approach to staff health and wellbeing

In February Kirkby Coffee marked six years in business, a milestone that means the world to the team. From their early days trading in Kirkby Market, serving regulars who quickly became friends, to expanding their offer with the purchase of their mobile coffee trailer, the journey has been one of hard work, passion and community spirit.

HA Civils Launch new Liverpool based apprenticeship with Hugh Baird College

HA Civils, Northwest-based SMEs specialising in highway maintenance and civil engineering, have launched a new Apprenticeship Pathway for Highway Maintenance Operatives aimed at addressing regional skills shortages.

The 24-month programme combines classroom learning at Hugh Baird College with paid, on-site practical training at Huyton Asphalt’s Knowsley facility.

Three Weeks to go....until three fantastic events with Knowsley Chamber!

We’re excited to share that in just three weeks’ time, we’ll be hosting a trio of brilliant events designed to bring our business community together, support growth, and celebrate success.

📅 Tuesday 10 March – Small Business Network

Join us at The Village Green, Huyton for a session, hosted by Knowsley Chamber in partnership with the Business Growth Team at Knowsley Council, aiming to share learning and needs form which will then inform a Network being launched in 2026. This event works to support small businesses in their development, particularly those looking to grow their enterprises post–start-up whether operating as a sole trader or as a small business with fewer than ten employees.

📅 Wednesday 11 March – International Women's Day 2026

The national theme for this year is “Give to Gain,” which shines a spotlight on the power of intentional collaboration – how supporting and uplifting others ultimately strengthens us all. Join us at the beautiful Allerton Manor Golf Club for a two-course lunch. We will have an inspiring afternoon featuring guest speakers, meaningful conversations, and a welcoming space to connect with like‑minded people.
