We are currently experiencing an IT outage following a planned update scheduled for this afternoon. Unfortunately, the outage is lasting longer than anticipated and is affecting multiple IT systems. Our telephone lines remain operational, but some services may be slower than usual while the issue is resolved. If you are unable to get through and require medical advice or attention that cannot wait, please call NHS 111 or visit www.111.nhs.net. For medical emergencies, please dial 999. Did you know that at Hattersley you can now use the NHS app to request consultations, order repeat prescriptions and look at your health record? If you want to know more, we’re holding a drop in session at Hattersley Hub today (Tuesday 26th November) from 10:30am-12pm. Pop in for more information on the NHS app and some help getting set up!

Please be aware, the practice will be closed for training purposes from 12pm on Thursday 21th November. We will reopen our doors at 8am the following day. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you require urgent but not life-threatening medical assistance that cannot wait until the practice re-opens, please call 111. Following a telephone assessment by NHS 111 you will be provided with information about the appropriate service for your health problem. If you are unsure which health care service you need to visit, NHS 111 will signpost you to the most appropriate care for your condition - GP, local pharmacy, emergency department or an emergency ambulance response.
If you have a life-threatening medical emergency, please dial 999.
Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles (pay as you go phones need to have at least 1p of credit, although no charge is made).

We are aware of a global IT outage and an issue with EMIS, an appointment and patient record system, which is causing disruption in the majority of GP practices. The practice has measures in place to manage the disruption, including using paper patient records and handwritten prescriptions, and the usual phone systems to contact your GP. Patients should attend appointments unless told otherwise. Only contact your GP if it’s urgent, and otherwise please use 111 online or call 111. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
