It’s come to my attention that the booking page for my Monthly Development Workshop has been showing as “full” , which isn’t true.

Today is Chinese New Year, so I cleaned my front door and refreshed the plants by the entrance.

In Feng Shui the front door is known as the mouth of the chi and the place where energy enters the home. By clearing it, cleaning it and making it welcoming, you’re symbolically inviting abundance and fresh opportunities in for the year ahead.

This is the Year of the Fire Horse, which carries energy of speed, movement and forward momentum. It can feel quite dynamic and driven.

But when I checked in with the energy this morning, the message felt clear, before rushing ahead, set your intentions. Be conscious of the direction you’re moving in. The Horse may run, but it still needs a path.

So today feels less about hurrying and more about aligning first.

I’m currently writing the Empress Codes as part of the Foundation level of the Shamanic Dragon Priestess path, and as I’ve been exploring the Grail mysteries and the water priestess current, the Magdalene energy has been coming through very strongly. I’ve felt her presence as a guide for some time now, but recently it has felt clearer. What has been interesting is not just her presence, but how she seems to flow through several of the feminine archetypes I’m working with. I’m writing around 13 archetypes that we all hold within us, exploring both their gifts and their shadows, and what happens when those parts of us are either suppressed or fully integrated. When they come into balance, there is a sense of wholeness that emerges, and that wholeness is what I describe as embodying the Empress.

Last weekend I was at a healing gathering and had one of my guides painted by Patrick Gamble. As he worked, he shared that the energy coming through felt connected to supporting my work with the Divine Feminine. The moment I saw the finished painting, I immediately felt a Magdalene quality in her, particularly in the veil and in the expression around the mouth and eyes. It felt familiar rather than surprising. Later, I remembered that during my practitioner and teacher training in Transference Healing with Alexis Cartwright, I had connected with Mary Magdalene energy in a very similar form. When I looked again, the similarities were striking.

For me, that felt like confirmation that the guide I’ve sensed working alongside me in the creation of these codes is not random. I don’t see guides as something separate that override us, but as helping spirits who co-create with what is already unfolding through us. As I continue writing the Empress Codes and weaving these 13 archetypes towards wholeness, I’m aware that this is a collaborative process between the visible and the unseen.

Friday the 13th.

Unlucky?

Or deliberately misunderstood?

The number 13 is one of the oldest sacred numbers of the feminine.

There are 13 moons in a lunar year.
13 menstrual cycles in the body..
It represents death and rebirth. Initiation. Renewal. Cyclical power.

Over time, 13 was recast as dangerous, unlucky, even sinister.

But what if the distortion wasn’t random?

What if it mirrored the suppression of cyclical wisdom…
of womb consciousness…
of women who held knowledge outside sanctioned systems?

In the Shamanic Dragon Priestess Path, we consciously reclaim 13 as a number of activation and remembrance.

We don’t treat it as superstition.

We treat it as structure.

Here’s how it weaves through the codes:

In the Dragon Codes, we work with 13 dragons, different lenses of dragon consciousness, awakening sovereignty and elemental power.
This is the path of the Dragon Priestess.

In the Alchemist Codes, we journey with 13 animals and 13 tree transmissions, learning the foundations of shamanism and the medicine wheel.
This is the path of the Elemental Priestess.

In the Empress Codes, we embody 13 feminine archetypes, integrating their gifts and shadows until sovereignty becomes lived experience.
This is the path of the Rose Priestess.

In the Priestess Codes, we work with 13 plants and herbs, ceremony, altar craft, and devotional relationship with the green world.
This is the path of the Plant Priestess.

In the Lunar Codes, we move through 13 moons, learning emotional regulation, manifestation cycles, and moon-based ceremony.
This is the path of the Moon Priestess.

Thirteen is not chaos.

It is pattern.
It is rhythm.
It is remembrance.
