⨠Collective Tarot Themes from the Wellness Fair â¨
Iâve noticed something interesting whenever I do tarot readings at wellness fairs, each time, thereâs always a theme that seems to run through the whole day. Itâs not always the same theme from one fair to the next, but on that particular day, thereâs a definite thread connecting everyoneâs readings. And yesterday was exactly the same.
The theme this time was really about boundaries, energy, and stepping into your power.
The Lovers card came out repeatedly, but not in the romantic way people expect. It was much more around protecting your energy, where youâre putting your time, who youâre giving your attention to, and whether youâre honouring your own needs. Almost like a reminder to stop over-giving, stop absorbing what isnât yours, and to choose yourself a bit more.
There was a lot coming up around the solar plexus, too, which makes total sense after the year weâve had collectively. Being in the Year of the Snake, this has been a huge year of shedding. And not just gentle shedding, really big, uncomfortable endings. The kind of shedding where the old skin doesnât peel off nicely⌠it gets ripped off.
A lot of people have had:
⢠relationships end
⢠jobs disappear
⢠homes change
⢠identity shifts
⢠unexpected losses
⢠or situations where they were pushed out before they were ready
And for many, these werenât choices. The snake energy forces endings when we cling to something that canât come forward with us. If we donât let go ourselves, the universe often steps in and that showed up so clearly in the tarot.
I saw The Tower, The Ten of Swords, and The Death card again and again.
All of that finality.
All of that âthis chapter is done whether you feel ready or not.â
Some people were already on the other side of that, just tying up loose ends, while others were very much still in the shock of it. But the energy was the same: something needed to fall away.
What was really interesting, though, was what came after these big endings.
There was so much new energy coming in, so many Aces:
⢠Ace of Pentacles â new job, new opportunity, new foundation
⢠Ace of Wands â new inspiration, new creative spark
⢠Ace of Swords â clarity, truth, new ideas
Not necessarily the dream life instantly appearing, but definitely signs of the new cycle starting to open up, the first doorways appearing now that space has been created.
The Two of Wands kept showing up as well, which to me is the card of contemplation, people taking stock, reflecting, and really figuring out what they actually want now that things have shifted. And in the future positions, I saw things like travel, moving house, new work, new connections, that sense of movement returning.
This ties in beautifully with the bigger cycles weâre stepping into.
Weâre leaving the Year of the Snake, which is all about endings, shedding, and releasing whatâs outgrown.
And weâre moving into the Year of the Horse, which brings forward momentum, energy, direction, and the desire to actually move ahead again. The Horse doesnât sit still, it runs toward the next chapter with strength and clarity. Perfect energy after such a heavy shedding year.
Weâre also moving from a 9 year in numerology (endings, completion) into a 1 year (new beginnings, fresh start), so everything is aligning with that sense of transition.
So if this year has felt like one big Tower moment, if youâve been pushed into changes you didnât choose, or if things have ended suddenly, youâre not alone. Itâs been a powerful shedding year for so many.
But from what I saw in the readings yesterday, the energy is shifting.
The heaviness is lifting.
The new cycle is beginning.
Not in a sudden, dramatic way, but in that quiet, steady âthings are starting to move againâ kind of way, which is exactly what the Horse brings.
And thatâs really what I wanted to share, just the patterns I noticed and how they reflect where we are in the bigger cycle right now.
