Meet Svenja O’Connor 👋

Svenja followed her passion into a new career after a long career in hospitality management. She trained in Sports Therapy in 2009, progressing to Level 5, and in 2016 added Pilates to her offerings. Today, she teaches both mat and Reformer Pilates, bringing experience, skill, and a focus on tailored, rehabilitative movement to her classes.

Originally from Kiel, Germany, Svenja moved to the UK over 30 years ago to be with her British husband. Their daughter was born in Canterbury in 1992. Outside of teaching, Svenja is a keen equestrian and remains involved with her yard and horses. She also enjoys time with her boxer dog and rescue chickens, as well as supporting her husband’s shop, “Ben’s Vintage,” which sells stylish, vegan, organic, and locally sourced items.

Meet Victoria Pack 👋

Victoria, founder of VWell, has always loved movement—starting as a wannabe ballerina at age 3 and growing into a lifelong passion for fitness and wellness. A self-professed science nerd (Genetics & Forensics BSc, 2:1 Hons, Bournemouth University), she spent a decade in Impact Investment Management before retraining as a Pilates instructor.

The career change was inspired by personal experience with injuries, including ligament reconstructions and a post-natal slipped vertebra, which highlighted the importance of rehabilitation, injury prevention, and mindful strengthening. Victoria now brings this knowledge and passion to every class, helping people move safely, build strength, and reconnect with their bodies.

Outside teaching, she enjoys outdoor adventures and water sports—golf, tennis, kite & windsurfing, skiing—as well as gym sessions. To balance it all, Victoria loves good food, wine, and winding down with a bath and a good book.

We’ve made a couple of shifts to our Saturday morning schedule

🧘‍♀️ 10:30am – Slow Flow Yoga
Previously Gentle Flow, this class has evolved into a slightly more active, breath-led practice.

Still beginner-friendly and accessible, Slow Flow moves at a steady, meditative pace—blending fluid sequences with moments of stillness, while building a little more strength and warmth through the body than before.

It’s a grounding practice designed to help you reconnect, improve balance and flexibility, and move with ease and awareness.

🌙 10:45am – Yin Yoga
A slow, deeply restorative practice focusing on the body’s connective tissues (ligaments & fascia).
Postures are held for longer periods, encouraging flexibility, release, and a sense of inner stillness—making it the perfect complement to more active styles of movement.
