Yoga in January - your chance to gently return to routine, not as pressure, but as support ✨
January can be a beautiful time to set intentions, but it doesn’t have to be a time of forcing yourself forward. While our calendars tell us it’s a new beginning, let this be your reminder that we are still deep in winter. The Earth’s New Year arrives in Spring, as the days stretch and light returns. That’s when I personally feel ready to ‘begin again’. Until then, this season invites us to rest, reflect and try a little less 🧘🏻♀️
In ‘Flow’ classes this month, we’ll explore Mandala Vinyasa as a way of returning to our centre. 🌀 Moving in spirals around the mat, we circle outward and then back in again, not to push further, but to reconnect with what’s steady and grounding beneath the movement. Just like winter itself, the practice is cyclical rather than linear, inviting us to conserve energy, stay present and listen more closely.
✨ 360-degree movement around the mat
✨ Feel good, full body strength and stretch
✨ Fluid transitions guided by breath
✨ Strong mind–body connection
💤 Our Thursday evening Calm Club, as always, offers a beautiful counterbalance - inviting deep rest through restorative yoga, extended poses and a long savasana with guided meditation. Your chance to fully slow down, rest and support your nervous system during the heart of winter.
Whether you’re craving mindful movement or complete stillness, you are warmly invited to join me 🧡
