We are now closed for the Christmas holiday. There is an answerphone service in place for waiting list appointments, but although we reopen on 2nd January are fully booked until the 8th January.

Happy Christmas everyone.
We’ve only got a couple of spaces left before Christmas, barring any cancellations. So if you need an appointment, please call asap to avoid disappointment.
We are then closed over the whole holiday period from 24th December until 5th January, which is already filling up.

The Hythe Osteopathic Clinic is reopening.

A LIMITED number of appointments will be available with Charles on Wednesday-Saturday mornings from Wednesday 20th May. At this current moment Vincent is not planning a return to work in Hythe.

Details can be found on our website (being updated later today) or by calling reception 01303 265905.

There is a very strict hygiene and sanitation protocol in place, including the use of PPE and employing social distancing measures. This is to limit the risk of viral spread, but it is impossible to reduce this to zero and so sadly we will be unable to see any patient who fall in to the 'at risk' categories.

In view of the additional PPE equipment required to operate it also means there is a price increase of £10 per appointment.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday it is with great regret that the Hythe Osteopathic Clinic is now closed.
We will try to offer telephone advice and support to those who need it during the lockdown. Hopefully we will all be able to resume a normal existence soon.

COVID 19 Protocol

Following the Government's advice on COVID-19 we have established a protocol to protect practitioners and patients at the Hythe Osteopathic Clinic.
Increased hygiene measures are in place to reduce the likelyhood of spreading the virus.
For our patients please use the following guidelines:
1. On entering the clinic please wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser at the front door
2. If possible we are suggesting that patients bring their own towels to lie on. We are removing the towelling cover from the treatment couch and will wipe down the vinyl upholstery between every patient.
3. Please DO NOT come if you have just got back from travelling abroad, if you have a cough, raised temperature or feel unwell or if anybody in your family has had any of these symptoms.

Late cancellation charges will be waived during this period.
We are planning to stay open and help anybody who needs treatment unless adviced otherwise by the government.

This weekend my wife and I will be attempting the Scilly Swim. Setting off from St Mary’s island we will swim a total of 9.5 miles to each of the 5 inhabited islands and walk across to the next in a circle over 2 days. This is our finishing beach. Wish us luck. Charles
