Once again we are pleased to announce a Waterfront and Solent surgery PPG open meeting. This is being opened up to all patients and staff of Waterfront and Solent surgery, the Red and Green practice, and Forestside Medical Practice.

Thursday 17th October at 7:30PM
Doors open at 7PM

Global IT issue affecting GP practices and pharmacies nationally.

Due to the current worldwide IT outage, our GP clinical system and vital operating software is not functioning. This means we do not have access to medical records, appointments and prescribing facilities.
Please only contact the surgery if you have an emergency. You can still use 111 and A&E services

21st August - Major IT Failure.

We apologise but due to a major IT failure we have no computer access this morning. We cannot see any clinical records, or book patients in to either routine or urgent care appointments.
We are unable to provide a service to anyone other than to those patients are currently booked in.

Our IT Service Provider is working as quickly as possible to bring us online.

Please call the surgery later, or consider using 111 or Lymington Minor Injuries unit if appropriate.

Dear Patients

Flu and Covid vaccination Information

NHS England has delayed the start to this year’s vaccination programmes to the 7th Oct 2023.
Unfortunately, this means even though we have the flu vaccine in our practice we won't be able to give it until this date. We will run the first flu and Covid clinic on the 7th of October at Hythe Hospital.

We will be sending an invite to eligible patients very soon to book your Flu and Covid vaccinations. The invite will book you into a Covid clinic however you will have your flu vaccination at the same time.

Please use this as an opportunity to support your practice, the delivery of Flu and Covid vaccinations is extremely important to the ongoing delivery of healthcare you receive.

Thank you for your support and patience. Please wait for your invite from us to book your vaccination, we are aiming to have everyone vaccinated by the end of Oct 2023.
