Celebrated Today 9th February, National Pizza Day was enjoyed by the residents as they had fun making their own pizzas. The best part was everyone enjoying eating them with their favourite sauces.

✔ Staff receive regular training on dignity, privacy, respect, and person-centred care
✔ Staff meetings and team discussions focus on dignity in everyday practice
✔ People using the service are actively involved in decisions about their care, routines, and preferences
✔ Staff knock before entering rooms and respect privacy during personal care
✔ Independence is encouraged, supporting people to do as much as possible for themselves
✔ Staff use respectful language and communicate in ways people understand and prefer
✔ Feedback from residents and relatives is welcomed and used to improve care

Residents enjoyed one-to-one number games that helped stimulate their cognition and numeracy skills. Experiencing success during the games boosted their confidence and enhanced their sense of wellbeing.
