Non-profit registered charity The Wilverley Association is a registered charity consisting of two care homes situated in the New Forest area; Forest Oaks in Brockenhurst and Little Haven in Dibden Purlieu. The services Forest Oaks and Little Haven offer are residential, nursing, palliative, respite and assisted living. Established in 1964 The Wilverley Association has earned a reputation for having staff that go that extra mile. The Wilverley Association was built thanks to the generosity of it's local communities. As a not-for-profit organisation we benefit from their ongoing support to improve the environment within the homes and to supply up to date facilities and equipment.

On Monday 29th July Danny our Kitchen Manager at Little Haven, completed a weighted walk from Heartland Manor Care Home to Little Haven Care Home in aid of Help for Heroes. He has also completed a 150-mile weighted walk this month on top of this walk!

Danny served in the Royal Navy for 15 years in a number of posts, ending his career as a Leading Chef. Whilst serving, he sailed around the world. During the walk, he proudly wore his medals awarded to him for his valued service in the Gulf War.

As a team we are all so very proud of his achievements. Well done Danny!
