Sending all our love and support to our Jess 💜💜💜

This announcement has took a lot of thinking about. Being a people pleaser is great for my business but I need to think about my personal life and work out a better balance between work Jess and home Jess.

The next few months are going to involve a lot of change within my family and I personally feel like I need to be more present to support my nearest and dearest with what lies ahead.

So from the 1st August I will not be accepting any new clients as my diary is always fully booked a month in advance. I’ve now got so many regulars that I’ve not got space for one offs or new regulars.

So, I hope everyone understands this decision! Maybe in the next couple of months I can review this as you all know I find it hard saying no, but I feel like this is the best thing for now.

As always thank you for the continued support! I never thought 2 years (next month) into running my own salon that I would be in this position and that’s all down to the support from you lovely lot!

My last full day here while the bambinos are still snoozing, so I thought I’d jump on for a quick catch up!

Appointments have gone absolutely crazy — thank you SO much 💜
My next availability is now 28th August, which is wild!

I’m going to have a proper look at my diary to see if I can squeeze in an extra day in August. With childcare it’s a bit tricky, but I’ll do my best to open something up 💫

As a mum of three (who are definitely not babies anymore 😭), I know how intense those early days can be. It’s magical… but it’s also messy, emotional and honestly, a bit of a blur.

This is something really close to my heart 💜
I struggled with postnatal depression after two of mine, and the anxiety that comes with being a new mum is honestly indescribable. You feel everything, all at once and it’s so easy to forget about your own needs in the middle of it all.

With my first, I was a very young mum (he’s nearly 16 now, how?!) Photos for reference at my youthful face 😂

Even though I didn’t fully understand Reiki back then, I remember how it helped. It lifted that heavy, overwhelming feeling, even just a little. It gave me moments where I felt like me again 🌸

Reiki isn’t about fixing or forcing anything — it’s about softening. It’s calm, quiet, and exactly what a tired, touched-out mama needs. Just lie down, breathe, and let the energy do its thing!

It can gently support:
✨ Emotional wobbles + overwhelm
✨ Easing that wired-but-tired feeling
✨ Grounding when you feel all over the place
✨ Reconnecting with you, not just “mum”
✨ Creating a space to just be, no pressure, no noise, no expectations

If you’re a new mum and your cup’s feeling empty I see you. I’ve been you. And I’d love to hold space for you 💗 Even if it’s just to lie down, sigh, and not have to answer to anyone for an hour!

And even if Reiki isn’t your thing — if you’re reading this right now, I just want you to know: you’re doing an incredible job. Even if it doesn’t feel like it. You really are 💛

✨ A Little Update from Me ✨

From September, there’ll be a small increase in prices across treatments. I’ve been avoiding it for as long as possible (classic me 😅), but it’s something I need to do to keep giving you the quality, time and energy you deserve 💜

We all know my business skills aren’t exactly top tier 😂 but I hope you all know this little space exists because I love what I do. Reiki and massage are my joy, and I genuinely feel lucky I get to do what I love and see all your lovely faces (or backs… mostly backs, let’s be honest 🤭❤️).

If you book a September appointment before the end of August, I’ll manually adjust it to the new prices for you. I will pop a warning on Fresha 💜
