📢 Important Notice 📢

Lister Chemists would like to inform our patients that we are changing our pharmacy system. This upgrade will allow us to provide a more efficient service and introduce text message notifications when prescriptions are ready for collection.

Due to the requirements of the new system, all current prescriptions must be collected by 10th January.
Any prescriptions not collected by this date may need to be reissued by the GP.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and cooperation during this transition.

Flu Vaccination Appointments Available 💉

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

➡️are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)

⭕️have certain long-term health conditions

➡️are pregnant

⭕️live in a care home

➡️are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance

⭕️live with someone who has a weakened immune system.

Today, 18th March 2025, we celebrate a special milestone here at Lister Chemists.

It has been 40 years since we first opened our doors to the local community on the High Street in Ibstock.

We as a family run pharmacy, are so proud to be serving Ibstock and the local community 40 years on.

Thank you so much for the continued support from our loyal customers over the years.

We've been made aware of many of our customers' prescriptions being sent to another pharmacy in the locality without their consent within the last 2 weeks.

At Lister Chemists, we respect the fact that the customer has the right to decide where they get their prescriptions fulfilled.

If your prescription has been sent to another pharmacy, without your consent; or you've received a text message or phonecall from another pharmacy stating that your prescription is ready to collect, without your knowledge it was being sent there, please get in contact with our team at Lister Chemists, who will try our best to investigate and rectify this issue.

Thank you for your understanding and we're so grateful to our many customers who have supported us over the years.
