I love Spring time and today marks the beginning of Spring. The Spring Equinox is a sacred moment of balance, when day and night stand equal across the Earth. The light begins to rise, bringing warmth, renewal, and new life. Nature awakens from its slumber, and we are invited to awaken with it. This is a time to set intentions, plant your seeds, and align with your true path. Release what no longer serves you and welcome the returning light with an open heart.

As the Earth awakens, so can you.
A new cycle is beginning. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Love this list. For me, this year, it's No 6 & 7. I'm going to create a wildlife garden. Try and tick a couple of these on this list if you can, your nervous system will thank you for it. โ™ฅ๏ธ

I am excited to let you know that the date has been set for the Spring Yoga Workshop, I really hope you are able to join me. ๐ŸŒฑ

My seasonal workshops encourage you to embody the qualities of each season, and with Spring fast approaching, the longer and lighter days can bring so much optimism, as Mother Nature is shrugging off her Winter coat and starting to burst forth with new growth and vitality. This Spring workshop will help you to embrace the rising energy of Spring, it is such a refreshing time of year and full of hope. The practices will energise you, giving you a โ€™Spring clean,โ€™ so that you feel more awake, more alive, and have more of a spring in your step.

The workshop will begin with slow, gentle yoga postures which will help to cleanse and detoxify, moving into more open energising postures to encourage growth and renewal. A meditation practice will be held to honour the Spring Equinox, and you will set your intention for the coming season, as it is a powerful time of year to plant new seeds of intention in your mind and heart. The workshop will be completed with a deeply relaxing and inspiring visualisation to fill your heart with with the joys of Spring. Breathing practices, Ayurvedic wisdom, yoga philosophy and soulful music will be shared throughout, to inspire and feed your soul.

Fall In Love Everyday โ™ฅ๏ธ

To have love in your life is to be celebrated, in whatever form that comes.
To have love for your dog, that's to be celebrated.
To have love for your job, that's to be celebrated.
To have love for yourself, now that's definitely worth celebrating.
It doesn't matter if you don't have that one individual human being to love on Valentine's Day, it doesn't matter at all.
All that matters is that you love... โ™ฅ๏ธ

Sending my love to all my yogis. This photo was taken last Summer Solstice, to remind you of blue skies, they are on their way. โ™ฅ๏ธ Claire ###

We were never designed for a frantic, hectic life, we were created for slowness, true connection, care, deep presence, nature and joy. That's why our bodies are pushing back with anxiety, illness and exhaustion. I believe it's a universal wish to allow ourselves to deeply rest, for our nervous systems to deeply relax, and to give ourselves some relief from the mental clutter that keeps us on edge.

We need to find ways to heal, whether through rest, self care or reflection, it's essential for our long term health. Our health and well being thrive when we prioritise stillness and meaningful connections over the demands of a hectic life. It's about finding moments of peace and connection amidst the noise, by giving ourselves time to simply 'be,' spending more time in the countryside, and sharing a meaningful conversation.

We belong in places that give us peace, nature and calm. Keep steering towards these places.

For my full timetable of weekly yoga classes you can visit my website at www.loveyogawithclaire.co.uk. I have classes in Ashby, Packington, Swannington and Heather. We move, we stretch, we lengthen, we strengthen, we balance, we breathe, we focus, we quieten, and then we deeply and wholeheartedly rest. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™

The Art of Unhurried Living - by Spirit of a Hippie โค๏ธ

Make time to savor the simple moments in life.
Step outside without a destination.

Let your feet find their own rhythm.
Take walks not shaped by exercise or efficiency.

Notice the quiet conversations of birds,
the familiar beauty along paths you have always walked.

A slower pace asks for your presence.
It invites you to feel the day unfolding
instead of racing past it.

In slowing down,
you begin to hear your own thoughts more clearly,
and, sometimes,
the gentle hush beneath them.

There is a richness in unhurried living,
where time becomes a place you inhabit,
not something you hurry through.

When you choose to slow down,
you create space
for these moments
to find you.

Welcoming 2026, let's fill it with light, love, hope and possibility. ๐Ÿ™

This past year has been an incredible year for Love Yoga With Claire, and I am always grateful for the community of beautiful souls that has grown through my work. It really is an honour to be able to offer teachings that literally lift peoples lives in every way.

Yoga is earthly, it is natural, it is soulful, it is real, it takes us back to our origin...energy, light and spirit, our spark of life. It always offers hope, and hope is the light at the end of the tunnel, guiding the way. ๐ŸŒŸ

I am looking forward to the year ahead, where we can come together to realign, reconnect, restore and revitalise. I will continue to offer fresh insight and inspiration throughout the year, so we all keep focusing on the light.

Happy New Year, and remember to keep filling it with light, love, hope and possibility. ๐ŸŒŸโ™ฅ๏ธ

My yogis are missing their gingerbread man baker who sadly has retired, after many years of dedicated hard work. โ™ฅ๏ธ In between classes I'm making Christmas decorations which they can hang on their tree, so they can think of their yoga classes throughout the year. They've shown such commitment this year, it's been an amazing year. โ™ฅ๏ธ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ€

At this morning's Winter Yoga Workshop, we lay in a circle of light, with candles and fairy lights all around. Lights and candles during the Winter season provide so much comfort, peace and calm. We spent 2 magical hours nourishing our souls, moving slowly from one posture to another respecting nature's pace during the Winter season. We acknowledged how the natural world at this time of year, retreats, sleeps, rests and lies dormant, conserving energy, in preparation for the Spring. As human beings, we must take time to do the same, we are afterall natural beings. This is not just a wellness trend, the ancient holistic practices of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine recommend this. We celebrated the fast approaching Winter Solstice, and learned the significance of this day, which has been celebrated for thousands of years as it marks the return of light, as the Earth starts its journey tilting back towards the Sun in the northern hemisphere. We shared a candlelit meditation where we made a solemn vow to nurture ourselves, and take time out from the busyness of the festive season whenever possible. We completed the workshop with a beautiful visualisation, walking across a frosty open landscape, being aware of the docile energy of the Winter season, and collecting foliage from an ancient yew tree to make a wreath. Wreath making is a tradition that has been carried out for thousands of years, they are a symbol of the continuation of the wheel of the year and everlasting life.

To witness everyone looking so relaxed, lying beneath their warm blankets, in a circle of light was breathtaking. I'm sure everyone could have stayed there for another hour.

'Take time to slow down during this Winter season, respecting nature's pace. Remember the beauty of stillness and the restorative sound of silence during this festive season.'๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒŸ
