Our Pharmacy Was Robbed in Broad Daylight.
Wednesday, our independent pharmacy in Ilford—a place that has stood as the first point of care for so many in the community was robbed in broad daylight.
We are heartbroken.
Our team serves everyone, from parents with sick children to those seeking mental health support, to patients recovering from addiction. We’re often the first stop when someone doesn’t know where else to turn.
But this was not about care.
The thieves came prepared. They blocked our staff from intervening, taking advantage of a system that protects criminals more than caregivers in the moment. They knew exactly what they wanted: high-end face creams, collagen supplements, and CeraVe lotions—products we now suspect are being resold.
Thankfully, no one was physically harmed.
But the sense of violation, and these two men being a threat too our community is deep.
These thieves didn’t just steal out of necessity ;They targeted the very place that helps people like them get back on their feet.
If we take hits like this, we will not be able to perform our much needed NHS services and this pharmacy will have to close.
