Join me in Venue and On Zoom and discover my positive approach to good healthy movement improving your outer and inner health. I teach group classes (mainly to busy active over40s) at The Limes Centre in Chigwell and also offer 1:1 sessions, both in person and online via Zoom. There's a healthy mix of strength and releasement in my classes so you enjoy a good balance of body-mind-breath content, thorough alignment cues and fresh ways to move. I am keen to share the benefits of Yoga, Pilates & Somatic Moves to existing practitioners and newcomers who benefit from regular sessions and continuously develop their flexibility and increase their movement function. My knowledge and experience is gained from over 15 years of teaching, with a thorough and ongoing personal commitment to continuously update my skills so that I can help you achieve a better quality of life both on and off your mat.

With Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breathing) at my March Equanimity Workshop, attendees experienced Inner Calm and Stillness along with other focused moves and asanas to cultivate mental focus, equilibrium and concentration. In two-hours of healthy practices, you enjoy real benefits to body-breath-mind-emotions.
‘Bee breathing’ activates the Relaxation Response, the sound vibrations reduce mental chatter: multiple extra benefits incl lowered HBP & improved immune function with increased production of Nitric Oxide in the nasal passages.

During Saturday's Equanimity workshop, attendees experienced a Seated Mindful Breathing practice along with healthy movements, balancing poses and other classical yoga techniques (such as Bhramari Pranayama, Bee Breathing) to help cultivate focus, concentration and a sense of Inner Steadiness. Many felt really positive outcomes! A connection to a sense of composure within.
In JUST Five Minutes (following moments of settling into Seated Stillness) you too can feel the positive benefits, your sitting doesn't have to feel like a Long Extra To-Do list to your day.

So my approach to body movement is multi-layered and draws mainly from my love and experience of Yoga, Pilates and more recently (from 2014) Somatics. I am so passionate about sharing the extensive benefits of all 3 disciplines. My knowledge and skills are gained from over 15years teaching and thorough, high quality & ongoing training. In the last few years I've really understood that when you practise using correct techniques, mindfulness of breath and inner awareness, you can enjoy much more freedom and truly sense embodiment and union in your body-mind-breath-emotions and develop your practice to its full potential.
