John recently celebrated his birthday with close friend and fellow family member, Pamela, down at Ilfracombe Harbour. They spent the day soaking up the sights of the Quay, admiring the iconic Verity statue, and – most excitingly – fulfilled John's lifelong dream: seeing a full-sized lifeboat. Our very own Edenmore Bake Off! Complete with cookie decorating and plenty of taste-testing. 🍰🧁Thank you to our amazing team for bringing in their homemade bakes. The orange chocolate brownies took the top spot, but the lemon drizzle cupcakes and Malteser tray bake were hot on their heels. A big thanks to everyone who lent a hand (or a cake).

An emotional benefit of playing a simple game of ring toss is that it gives a person a boost of confidence. Landing a ring, even just once, can make you feel proud, like "yes I can still do this!" It’s a fun way to feel capable and good about yourself, which really helps with feeling valued.
