Our First Aid for Carers course continues to prove popular with the Care Homes in the area and is specifically designed for care staff that may be called on to administer first aid to their residents in time of injury or illness. It covers the necessary elements and can be fine tuned to individual requirements. It follows the latest guidelines and best practice and keeps the team up-to-date, instilling confidence.
April has seen us delivering a couple of our First Aid for Carers courses to Alban House Residential Care Home in Ilfracombe, ensuring the team receive the latest guidelines for caring for their residents. It was nice to see the new management have made changes and the home is bright and welcoming. Staff are cheerful and happy in their work which goes a long way to the residents feeling supported and cared for.

Have also visited The Susan Day Residental Home Ilfracombe this month to update some of their care staff with our training and returning next month to capture more of the team. it’s always a pleasure to visit this Residential Care Home and meet the staff. Lovely gardens that, with the better weather will enable the residents to enjoy the great outdoors!
A small course of Emergency First Aid at Work delivered to some contractors too which hopefully, they won’t need to use the training but if they do at least, they are prepared!
