We operate a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service, from our funeral homes in Bideford and Ilfracombe but we cover all surrounding areas and throughout the United Kingdom if required. r at either of our offices. Our aim is to make each funeral personal, unique and representative of both the loved one lost and those making the funeral arrangements. Full support and advice will be given along each step before, during and after the funeral. Joel, our local funeral director, delivered donations to The Ilfracombe Foodbank on Friday, on behalf of everyone who has kindly contributed to our drop‑off point at Braddicks and Sherborne of Ilfracombe Funeral Directors.

The vital work our Foodbank does makes such a difference to local families, and we’re grateful to be able to play a small part. Thank you to everyone who continues to support this important cause alongside us.

If you’d like to contribute, donations can be left at our Ilfracombe office along St. Brannock's Road during opening hours.

Mavis Rose Bryant sadly passed away on 16th April 2026, aged 94.

Mavis’ service will take place at 12:00 on Wednesday 20th May at Encounter Church in Ilfracombe, followed by the committal at Marlborough Road Cemetery.

Riv’s service will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday 28th April at Brookdale Church, Ilfracombe, followed by refreshments at the church.

Smart-casual attire is requested and family flowers only please.
