The launch of The Soul Sisterhood Monthly Circle 🌙🌸

A nurturing space for women to gather, connect, share and receive healing together.

These circles will be hosted by Laura Jacqueline and Cheryl Louise ✨️

Our first circle will take place Sunday 19th April, 2–4pm at The Luna Shala.

Spaces will be limited to keep the circle intimate.

We’re excited to announce that Hannah will be joining us from 11th March to run a weekly pilates class! Hannah has a huge amount of experience and we can’t wait for her first session.

Here’s another from Hannah:

Hi! I’m Hannah.

I’ve been a lover and teacher of Pilates for around five years now, and I’m still amazed by how diverse and inclusive it is. Pilates brings together strength-building, mobility work, and relaxation all in one beautiful practice.

I’m currently studying Health Care and Health Science with the Open University, and I have a real passion for researching and doing what I can to reduce health inequalities.

Because of that, I always aim to make my classes a welcoming, supportive space for everyone. When I began teaching, I knew I didn’t want to work in big chain gyms, I wanted to work with people who face barriers and show them just how empowering and inclusive exercise can be.

I’d love to see you at a class sometime soon. If you have any questions or want to know a little more about Pilates, please feel free to get in touch! 💖

Thank you for the wonderful response to the studio hire post! I've had lots of interest and it's been lovely to meet some of you already - a beautiful mix of practitioners finding their home here.
I'd particularly love to hear from anyone looking to offer a Saturday morning yoga class. The space is available and waiting for the right teacher.

Luna Shala is a beautiful, intimate studio space available to hire in Ilkeston, Derbyshire - and there's nowhere quite like it.
Housed in a converted church hall, the studio is dressed with flowing voile, fairy lights, and a dark wood floor that grounds you the moment you walk in.

Crystals and dried flowers fill the room. Mats, bolsters, and pillows are all available for your students. There's a kitchen available for hosting, cups and glasses included! Free parking on - street parking.

People often say it feels like coming home. That's the intention.

We're looking for practitioners who are genuinely invested in growing their own community - teachers and therapists, who care about the experience they create, and who want a space that reflects that care.

If you run yoga, movement, sound, meditation, therapeutic or wellbeing sessions and you're building something real, or maybe you’re established and looking for a unique location, we'd love to have you here.

The venue also works well as an interesting meeting space with everything you need for a memorable session.
Daytime and weekend slots available, with some evenings. £15 per hour

Our little community at The Luna Shala is growing… and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful. ✨

From pregnancy yoga to baby massage, from Wild Moon Circles to Gentle Yoga flow, and now our beautiful weekend morning classes — it feels like the Shala is becoming a true home for so many of you.

Workshops are blossoming too: Yin, Cacao, Sound Healing, breathwork and more… each one adding richness, rest, and connection to this space we share.

And we’re so delighted to now offer the studio for community group bookings — because this place was always meant to be shaped by the people who gather here.
