At 38, following a hysterectomy, I was suddenly kicked into menopause….no gradual lead-up, no gentle transition.
Just a wave of change that affected every corner of my life….my body, my emotions, my sense of self.
Fast forward to now & even my recent surgery has reminded me just how interconnected everything is…our hormones, our healing, our hearts.
Menopause has a way of showing us how strong, yet how tender, we really are. 💛
That’s why the theme of this year’s World Menopause Day (Lifestyle Medicine) resonates so deeply with me.
The choices we make each day do matter.
The way we eat, move, rest & reconnect with ourselves truly shapes how we navigate this chapter.
In my own healing & in my work with clients, I’ve seen the power of slowing down…of bringing the body out of survival mode & back into rest & digest.
💫 Sound healing, Kundalini, Healing ceremonies & therapy aren’t just self-care trends….they’re tools that gently retrain our nervous system, allowing the body to restore & the mind to exhale.
Menopause is a natural phase, yes, but one that too often happens in silence.
Let’s change that…by speaking, sharing & supporting one another.
To every woman moving through this transition:
You are not alone.
You are powerful.
You are worthy of care, softness & peace.
