Ken 'Bob' Storer has been making daily donations to the Queen's Medical Centre for more than two decades. Each day, after finishing his morning cleaning shift at a printing firm, Bob hops on a bus with bags full of pads and coloured card, as well as crayons and chocolate 🥰

A petition has been started after it was announced the Hawthorns in Buxton is under consultation for closing and more than 1,100 people have signed saying they want to keep the residential care home open. The care home faces the prospect of closure in November and if it goes ahead the residents will need to find alternative housing and staff will lose their jobs 🙁
