We have been made aware that there are some bogus texts being sent to patients asking them to click on a link. We think these are phishing scams. If you receive an unexpected text quoting us or 111 please discard it - If it was genuinely from us and you don’t respond, we will always get back in touch. The only texts we send that require a click are:- reminders that ask you to cancel unwanted appointments, to provide feedback on a very recent appointment or to book a blood test. We not have any other type of appointment available to book on-line at this time. If in doubt please call the practice for confirmation.

As our patients know, the health and wellbeing of you all and our staff is always our top priority. Unfortunately as the news has been reporting these past few days, the rise in cases of influenza is on a sharp increase. We are therefore requesting that for the next few weeks all patients wear a mask when attending the surgery. We also ask that everyone resumes the use of hand sanitiser when entering the building. We do know that these measures are not the most comfortable and we do sincerely apologise for any discomfort this may cause, however we also know that the use of such measures does help with the spread of infectious airborne diseases. Please help us to help keep you and your families safe and out of hospital. A supply of masks and sanister will be available for all patients.

The number of people with flu in hospital has quadrupled in the last month, the latest data shows.

For non-life-threatening but urgent treatment needs, that cannot wait until we re-open on Friday at 8am, please contact 111 in the first instance.

111 are also able to organise urgent medication.
