❤️ Older people are especially vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation, which can seriously affect their health. But even if you live alone and find it hard to get out, there are ways to overcome loneliness.

According to Age UK, over 2 million people in England aged 75+ live alone, and more than a million older people go over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbour, or family member.

This week, we spent a morning with one of our clients, the lovely Blanche 🩷

Blanche told us all about her 'long and happy' life, from when she and her husband Gerald formed a quartet and travelled far and wide to perform, to her time spent as a JP magistrate for over fifteen years ⚖️🎶

Blanche has a passion for music, and took time showing us brilliant photographs of her performing onstage in Gilbert & Sullivan shows, operettas, and many more performances 🎭✨
