Are you looking for fun days outside for your children this Half-Term?
At Moorfield, Ilkley Forest School Cooperative has a huge parachute shelter where the children can choose to stay under when it rains. We also have a cosy and warming fire going all day to cook on, keep warm at, and just generally hang out at and have a good old natter with the kids.
Or they can run around, scale the climbing frame, build dens, make art or slide down the mud slide.

Our very popular Forest Fun sessions are back on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th of October.

We are very excited to tell you that the booking is now live for our Oktober Half-Term Forest Fun at Moorfield. Lots of autumnal craft activities, cooking, as well as den building, whittling, relaxing and adventuring, are part of our two very busy days.

Today's second day of holiday forest school was great...Cooking, chopping, tasting , pretending and on fire! We had banana drop scones with blackberry and strawberry relish.

Children enjoyed adventure trips as well running and chasing games. There was a new hammock swing and a mini natural history museum, strawberry cordial instead of hot chocolate, s'mores and lighting small fires. Our amazing team of Pippa Rochford , Cath Woolloff, Bea Manville, and Lisa Barker, Marianna, Robin and Aiden were all hands on busy with helping and making things happen. We cannot wait for October Halloween fun now...
