🌟 Another exciting new addition to our Ilkley Osteo Team! 🌟

Welcome to Guy Harnby.

Guy is a qualified Osteopath, from the College of Osteopaths.

He was drawn to osteopathy having been a career soldier responsible for sick and wounded soldiers.
His Military life took him worldwide as an infantry and staff officer, with both the British Army and the United Nations.

Guy is also qualified to use acupuncture alongside osteopathic techniques, where appropriate in his treatment approach to relieve pain and aid recovery in his patients.

Guy will be working here at the practice on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Salmon fishing 🎣 , Icelandic sheep tending 🐑 & Sale Sharks 🏉 supporting are just some of his varied interests. 😉

We’re very happy to welcome Osteopath Niki Matthews to our Team. 🌟

Niki comes to us from Cumbria, with over 20 years experience as an Osteopath.

Treating patients of all ages-from newborns to the elderly, & supporting pre, and post-natal wellbeing, her approach focuses on biomechanics, posture and rehabilitation.

Niki is also qualified in British Medical Acupuncture, using it alongside osteopathic techniques where appropriate to support recovery, relieve pain and enhance overall treatment outcomes.

£120,000 per year, on 4 days a week.

What a whirlwind couple of weekends Robbie & I (Lou) have had!

There’s been lots of study, 🤓
battling through the elements to get down to London Town, ❄️ 🌬️ 🚂
new assessments, techniques & experiences-with plenty support & humour 😉! !
A last minute treat to see -SENSATIONAL 🙌🏼…, but ultimately we have met fabulous tutors, & fellow clinicians passionate about helping women, & expanding their knowledge in Women’s postnatal care,& ultimately women’s health.

So knowledgeable & informative, Beth is a local Nutritional therapist who we’ve referred patients to, & gleaned some interesting insights into all things digestion & nutrition.

Her subject last night? Acid Reflux! A very common symptom that people often ignore &/or poorly manage.
