Tonight is part two of the British Flower & Vibrational Essence Association Pro-Expert Exchange, and we're talking about Innovation & Alcohol-free Essences.

This time the panel from part one, including Sam Cremnitz from Crystal Herbs, Sue Lily, Saskia Marjoram, Jan Stewart and Jenny Howarth, will be joined by Amy Murphy-Watts and together they will share their expertise on the subject and be part of a live Q&A afterwards.

This round-table discussion is particularly for anyone interested in making their own flower essences, or for practitioners who make up essences for their clients.

We at last have that sense of waking from winter slumbers, in the northern hemisphere, and the exuberant Red Frangipani captures beautifully the excitement of these days.

Today has been one of those days... what to do for the best? So many ideas , but which should we prioritise? Sometimes nature does know better of course, and many of us just had to wait, as river levels rose and obliged us to just stop and reflect.

A great time for a few drops of Meadow Rue, to discern what is worth striving for in life. The message of Meadow Rue is to ' put aside greed and self-seeking because these are the weapons that not only destroy us personally, but could ultimately destroy mankind....

Do you have a favourite place to see snowdrops in bloom?

We are now looking towards the Double Snowdrop, with its beautifully evocative perfume. The Single Snowdrop is lovely, but has hardly any scent. The Double Snowdrop is resilient through the toughest of weathers and naturalises happily in areas of dappled light, often forming natural drifts in the shade of trees above.

Our Double Snowdrop essence encourages a lightness of touch, a rejoicing in change and the newness of life. People who are feeling stuck or ‘old before their time’ have started to celebrate a new sense of security in times of transformation, using this essence.

This must be one of the best weeks in the year to turn to the snowdrops and their essence, to ease us forward into the joyful days of early Spring.

At Yorkshire Flower Essences we have been quietly working all Winter and here we are, waking up a little, with nature’s help, at last. Have we all seen at least a few little snowdrops, now, their bobbing heads acknowledging the imminent arrival of Spring?

Sadly I have to announce the Harrogate market on Thursday has been cancelled. With gust of wind predicted at over 60mph it just isn’t safe to have a gazebo and market. This has been a hard decision for them to make and I totally support their decision.

However this means I have lots of stock! Please help support my small business by placing orders and spreading the word for me.

I am just making alternative arrangements and will be at the chocolate kitchen as much as I can be from later today to facility’s collections and will also be offering one last postal dispatch tomorrow morning for all orders placed before 9pm today.
