The residents were treated to a spectacular "Strictly Entertainment Cruise Around the World", with music, dance, and dazzling costumes celebrating countries near and far. 🌎🎶❤️

🌞 Riverside Adventures with Mayfield View! 🌊

The residents had a wonderful day out by the riverside, sharing stories, and enjoying the fresh air. Laughter echoed along the water as we strolled, spotted wildlife and enjoyed each others company.

It’s moments like these that remind us how special it is to create lasting memories together. Thank you to our amazing wellbeing team for making it such a joyful and relaxing day.

🍦 National Ice Cream Day Celebration! 🍨

We scooped up smiles and sprinkled joy as we celebrated National Ice Cream Day at Mayfield View! 🎉

The residents had a wonderful time choosing their favourite flavours, adding all the toppings, and sharing stories over sweet treats.

Thank you to Mayfield's amazing team for organising such a fun and heartwarming event, and to the residents for reminding us that you're never too old to enjoy an ice cream treat. 💛

We had an amazing visit with Ilkley Brewery at the Mayfield Arms.
The residents enjoyed a presentation about the history of the Brewery with some fantastic beer sampling.

🎶 Feel the Beat with Good Rhythm! 🥁✨

We had an incredible afternoon filled with joy, energy, and lots of rhythm as Good Rhythm paid us a visit! Their live drumming and bongo session had everyone clapping, dancing, and smiling from ear to ear. 💃🪘🕺

It was wonderful to see the residents light up with excitement, joining in with the beats and sharing laughter all around. Music truly is a universal language — and today, it brought us all together.

Thank you, Good Rhythm, for bringing such positive vibes and unforgettable moments to our home. 💛

Thanks to your kind donations, we’ve been able to put together a fantastic collection for our local food bank. From cupboard staples to thoughtful extras, every item will help support individuals and families in need in our wider community.

Some of the residents at Mayfield View enjoyed The Spirit Of Evendore Boat Trip. What a fabulous day out on the canal barge in Skipton. Amazing views and landscape were enjoyed by all.
A lovely day to enjoy a picnic on board as we sailed along. It brought back memories of barge holidays and time spent in Skipton.

Mayfield View "Up Cycle Day" -Alan from the man shed and the residents have been working on an exciting project, they have been involved in designing and decorating our very own mobile sweet cart, using recycled wheelchair wheels, odds and ends of wood and materials from used or unwanted items. The residents enjoyed painting the cart and soon we will be enjoying our very own sweet cart.
Enjoying a well deserved cup of tea and bun at the end.
